With a clean, streamlined profile, ample storage capacity (3661 cubic inches), a broad range of adjustability, and an affordable price, the Osprey Volt 60 is ideal for value-conscious backpackers looking for reliable lightweight performance.

An aluminum LightWire peripheral frame transfers weight to your hips and a cushioned harness, padded hipbelt, and HDPE framesheet combine to further enhance fit and comfort. The harness provides easy adjustment to accommodate torso lengths ranging from 17"-22" in length. Fit-on-the-Fly adjustability in the hipbelt ensures a comfortable, supportive fit for waists ranging from 29”-51". An adjustable sternum strap further aids in stability and enhances fit. Side compression straps allow you to cinch down the Volt 60 to keep contents safely in place and aid in load control.

The top-loading packbag is accessed beneath a top lid that can be extended when necessary to create extra space and keep contents secure. A zippered lower compartment grants access to a dedicated sleeping bag compartment. A divider between the two compartments allows for the separation and organization of gear but can also be opened to convert the Volt 60 to a single oversized compartment. A large stretch woven front "shove it" pocket is perfect for stashing extra layers or any gear that you may want to access quickly. Zippered hipbelt pockets keep essentials close at hand.

Other features found on the Volt 60 include dual ice axe loops, a Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachment, side mesh water bottle pockets, and removable straps for lashing sleep pads. A lined, sleeve makes the pack hydration system (sold separately) compatible.

The Osprey Volt 60 backpack is available in your choice of colors.

Solid and Reliable
Reviewed by Sherry K. - May 8, 2018

Likes: Nice size and fits a good amount of stuff

Dislikes: Would have liked extra clips for sleeping bag and pad.

Good pack for the price
Reviewed by Timothy G. - May 4, 2018

Likes: Well build with a large range of adjustments at a great price.

Dislikes: Not the most comfortable back for tall users.

Love the pack.
Reviewed by Daniel B. - February 26, 2018

Likes: Main thing I wanted was a midsize pack for week end hikes my 80 Kelty was far too big for this. I love that this pack has the sleeping pad straps and bag compartment.

Dislikes: None yet!

Great pack for the money.
Reviewed by Jeremy L. - November 30, 2016

Likes: Fully adjustable to fit a wide range of torso and waist sizes. Fairly light weight. A great, no frills pack. Osprey has fantastic customer support.

Dislikes: No rain fly included.

Simple, high volume with durable fabrics
Reviewed by Sean B. - August 3, 2016

Likes: Lightweight Suspension, quality feel, nice zippers, good price point for lifetime guaranteed "no-matter-what" warranty, high volume probably good for cooler weather hikes with bulky items, large stretch pouch in the front, hydration compatible

Dislikes: Lots of contact with the frame sheet cushioning on your back; can be warm, frame is a plastic barreled hoop, top-only access to main compartment, under heavier load, fells squishy on your body. Not an innovative design. On sale, a good value.
