Osprey Aether AG Internal Frame Backpack Series
In this series overview video of the Osprey Aether AG internal frame backpacks, Gear Specialist Luke demonstrates the standout features that set these innovative, high performance packs apart.
The Osprey Aether AG Packs
Originally introduced in the Atmos and Aura packs, Osprey's now much-loved AG, or "Anti-Gravity" suspension system has arrived in the heavy hauling favorite Aether (and women's specific Ariel) packs beginning in 2017. The AG technology utilizes tensioned mesh and a lightweight but sturdy aluminum frame to provide outstanding fit, promote unrestricted movement, and comfortably carry up to 60 pounds. The hipbelt in the Aether packs creates tension when opened to provide an airy body-hugging fit, and the soft contoured shoulder straps wrap around your torso like no other pack.
The Aether AG packs are available in several capacity options and sizes to accommodate varying needs. All models and sizes share a wealth of features beyond the AG suspension system, including:
Tensioned hipbelt that's interchangeable depending on your waist size.
Soft padded and contoured harness with innovative load-lifters that's also interchangeable to offer a more customized fit.
Top loading design with removable lid that can be used as a fully functional DayLid day pack.
Zippered sleeping bag compartment with removable divider.
Integrated FlapJacket cover for lidless use - save on weight!
Building on the Aether packs' already won reputation as rugged load-haulers for extended backpacking trips, Osprey has added serious innovation with the Anti-Gravity suspension system in the Aether AG packs. Perfect for both the seasoned or beginning backpacker looking for a comfortable, breathable and athletic pack, the Aether AG packs are ready for long days on the trail.
