The Marmot Randonnee Glove is going to be well-suited for winter sports, in particular skiing. It's an insulated glove using Primaloft insulation. So this is a synthetic that is very lightweight, doesn't have much bulk to it, is very warm, dries very quick if it gets wet. That shouldn't be a problem in the Randonnee Glove. You do have a combination of waterproof/breathable fabrics. You've got a GORE-TEX insert as well as Marmot's proprietary waterproof/breathable Membrain fabric combined in this glove. So you're fully protected from cold, wet, wind and snow the whole deal. Across the palm of the hand you've got this nice, lightweight well-done leather palm. You've got some reinforced sections here and you'll see that Marmot's put this digital print on here. It's a little sticky and a little tacky, but not much. It just offers a little bit of a better grip on ski poles, and working ski bindings, snowshoe bindings, that sort of thing. A fit adjustment on the Randonnee Glove – you've got an adjustable strap here at the wrist. So you can snug that down tight and get a secure fit. You do have a nice short gauntlet here. It's not going to get in the way or be too bulky. Inside that, you do have a safety leash, so you can tuck that on in there and not lose your glove when you take it off on a ski lift as well as a single-pull operational adjustment on the gauntlet to close and open as well. Just a couple of nice finishing features here on the Randonnee Glove. The inside of this glove is just a really really soft lining. This is Marmot's DriClime. It's a bi-component, three-dimensional wicking lining. It moves moisture famously, I'd have to say and it's going to keep your hands really dry and very comfortable. For a runny nose, the back of both thumb pieces do have a soft nose wipe and you do have a pairing clip to clip the gloves together when not in use.
