This is the Marmot Cloudbreak 30. It is a 3-season, synthetic insulated sleeping bag. Marmot uses their Thermal-R and they're using a wave shingle construction. What this means is that you get a nice overlap. Marmot's worked some body mapping in there. So it makes this bag a lot more efficient than it would be otherwise without adding extra weight to the bag. And that shingle construction eliminates any sort of cold spots that you may have moving around in the middle of the night. The Cloudbreak 30 has the standard features you would expect to find on any good quality sleeping bag. You have an insulated draft tube that runs down the length of the zipper and I'd just like to give you a look at the footbox. As you can see, you have a two-way zipper, so you can do some venting there at the feet if you need to. There is about a foot at the bottom where there is no zipper. This is designed to be thermally efficient to keep your feet warm at night. And you can see there is a box construction to it, so it's going to be comfortable as well as thermally efficient. The hood of the Cloudbreak 30 has a three dimensional design to it, so it has a nice ergonomic fit and be comfortable to sleep in at night. You do have some baffling around the face here and you can see you've got two drawcords so you can make adjustments throughout the night whether it's warmer or cooler and there is a nice guard at the top here to keep it from digging into your face. Marmot does include a compression stuff sack with the Cloudbreak 30. As you can see, it packs down to a tight bundle here and I don’t' even have it cinched down all the way. It would easily fit in most backpacks or even a kayak or canoe stern if you're headed out for the weekend. This is the Marmot Cloudbreak 30.
