A compact, lightweight option for backpacking or emergency preparedness, the Ultimate Survival Technologies (UST) Spark Force flint-based fire starter is capable of igniting a wide range of tinder sources, including UST WetFire Tinder (sold separately), even in adverse conditions.

Weighing one single ounce, the striker and flint are encased in a protective and highly-visible housing that measures just 3.1” x .75” x .43” so you can easily stash it in your pack or even a pocket. In addition to protecting the flint, the case also prevents inadvertent sparks.

  • Will ignite a wide range of tinders, including WetFire Tinder(sold separately)
  • Sparks can be generated in rain or other adverse weather conditions
