Real Customer Reviews
- Light and Easy
Easy to Adjust
- Excellent pack
Likes: This pack is amazing, i run long distance races, 50k and up and this is so lightweight but can hold everything I need. Trekking poles latch right on up front. Water bottles are placed perfect. Highly recommend.
Dislikes: Haven’t found any yet
- Great Product
Likes: I bought this vest for the large amount of storage. I was disappointed when I discovered I bought the wrong size but I was able to send it back and have the correct size all in the same week. The customer service was top notch.
- Fantastic fit
Likes: Variety of storage pockets is great! I'm using a water bladder in the back and one of the front water pockets for a compact camera (Sony Rx100). I'm surprised at how light it feels fully loaded, compared with my previous pack.
Easily carries enough for 50 miles unsupported running (bring a water filter).
Dislikes: Not much to dislike about the pack.
- perfect hydration pack for Ultras
Likes: tons of storage in all the right spots. Easy access to food and items. Perfect holders for trekking poles. Easy on and off to get to item in the back pocket. Light and hold water bottles with out too much bounce.
Dislikes: Took a long time to dial in the fit and get it snug enough so there was no bounce in the vest and bottles. Perfect since the fit was locked in.
Likes: I really like how it feels, it fit snuggly and very comfortable. It has enough adjustment options that don't smash my chest. The soft water bottles feel very good in the chest.
Dislikes: It caused chaffing on my shoulders.
- This is a super vest for both long trail adventures and fast trail races
Likes: I already have about 40+ miles on this vest and I love it. It has alot of reachable pockets/storage in the front so you rarely have to take the pack off for small gear. Another great thing is how light and breathable it is, compared to an old Nathan Vapor I used to wear, the AK vest beats it by a landslide. The best thing about the AK vest is the addition of 6 bungy cord hooks at the perimeter of the giant pocket in the back. The hooks aallos you to compact the back of the pack very tightly in order to use for short runs or as a makeshift race vest and eliminate any unwanted movement in the back when you don't have gear in the back.
Dislikes: The only complaint I HAD was that the bottom sternum straps in the front bruised over my lower ribs but after the vest softened up from sweat and its first rinse/wash, the bruising stopped.
- So much room for such a light weight vest!
Likes: Pockets, Pockets & More Pockets!! There is space in this vest to carry enough for an unsupported 30+ miler! I went out for 25 miles yesterday & carried 3 liters, 2 honey stingers, 7 gels, 2 cliff bars, my first aid kit, cell phone, a jacket, trek poles & a buff AND it all fit with some room to spare! Very lightweight!! I love the trek pole loop locations! I'm a female & this fits so nice!! No bounce! I love this vest!!
Dislikes: The mesh on the back doesn't breathe as well as the Jenny Ultra Vesta.
