Designed for backpackers, the Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus sleeping pad is a lightweight, compact option for all but the coldest of conditions. Self-inflating foam and strategic die-cutting provide the ProLite Plus with a warm 3.4 R-value.
The ProLite Plus incorporates cutting-edge foams and fabrics that, along with the innovative diagonal die-cutting in the design, keep weight and packed size to a minimum. Therm-a-Rest’s premium Atmos interior foam provides a full 1.5” of cushioned support that is also extremely compressible. Durable face fabrics provide a textured surface that keeps you on the pad at night.
A self-inflating design allows you to simply unroll the ProLite Plus and open the integrated air valve. The pad's open-celled Atmos foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the ProLite Plus has inflated, you can adjust the firmness by adding a few puffs of air or pressing down lightly on the pad to release air.
The Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus is available in Small (20" x 47"), Regular (20" x 72") and Large (25" x 77") size options. Therm-a-Rest includes a stuff sack with every ProLite Plus pad.

Real Customer Reviews
- Perfect in every way
Likes: Comfortable, light and inexpensive
Dislikes: Holds stains easily but doesn't everything get dirty in the wilderness?
- Self inflating sleeping pad
Likes: I love this pad so far. Just needs one puff of air to finalize inflation. Very comfortable.
Dislikes: Love it so far.
- Super comfy at a respectably light weight!
Likes: Good insulation, packs down well, easy to inflate.
Dislikes: A little on the heavy side, but that is the price of full sleeping comfort for a tall person who shares the pad with their dog.
- Spent two nights on it in mid-40s temps. It kept me warm from the cold ground. The main dislike is that it's too narrow. Although I wasn't expecting a home sleep, I had to work too hard to stay on it's tapered shape when turning over. I prefer my Neo Air.
Likes: Compact when deflated.
Foam insulation - warm. And the foam provides padding when uninflated.
Dislikes: Too Small (had to work too
