- Sure beats my lungs
Likes: This pump is so tiny and lightweight, making the additional weight a non-issue. Sure I can blow up the mattress using my own steam but that lightheaded feeling is not fun, especially after a long day of hiking. Or at altitude. Get this going and go about setting up the rest of the camp. I especially like that I don't have to add the moisture from my breath to the inside of my pad. Eventually that gets funky no matter what.
Dislikes: Wish it had a plug in adaptor like the other model but that would just add to the weight. Takes a while to work but who cares as I can save the oxygen for me.
- Good for the tired and/or lazy
Likes: After a long day you can just set it and forget it. Go boil your water and start to rehydrate your mountain house come back then top it off. Saves time for only a few oz.
- Does a surprisingly good job for the size
Likes: I don't think I fully understood how small this was until I got it. It's tiny - but that's good because I'm weight and size conscious with my backpacking gear. It actually does blow up an XL pad. I added a few breaths for firmness, but then ended up letting a little air out, so it probably would have been fine as-is. It does take a few minutes, but that's just a good excuse to sit and admire the scenery I worked so hard to get to. :)
Dislikes: No dislikes yet!
- Works well to save my breath
Likes: It is relatively quiet. It is small and light. It does the job.
Dislikes: I would like if it was able to fill the mattress a little fuller but, I don't really think that's a fair expectation.
- Useful camp gadget!
Likes: The pump inflates my Xtherm Max in approx 3min. I was surprised how lightweight and useful this gadget was in camp. I was able to unpack and setup my shelter while it runs, and I don't have to get lightheaded anymore!
Dislikes: It would be awesome if the pump could run off a USB battery bank instead of having to carry around the extra 2AAA batteries, but this is splitting hairs. The batteries do appear to last a long time.
- Love the light weight
Likes: Love how small and light this thing is. I don't need to have my sleeping pad inflated instantly so waiting a couple minutes is fine with me. Happy to sacrifice a powerful fan for weight. I also do a lot of hiking with it.
Dislikes: Don't have any dislikes for it as it serves its purpose and exceeds my expectations of how much it weighs.
- Perfect size, and efficiency!
Likes: I bought this for a two person big Agnes pad, I bought a 6 inch piece of rubber hose for an adapter cause it wasn’t the same set up as a thermarest. I use that now, and it works perfect!
Dislikes: Maybe more power? But I can’t complain putting a couple breaths in, as opposed to dozens!!
Likes: Works well
Dislikes: Could be a little stronger
