Cots have historically been too big and bulky for most camping trips and certainly for backpacking. The innovative Therm-a-Rest LuxuryLite UltraLite Cot combines an innovative design and lightweight materials to reduce weight and packed size, make set-up easy and provide a comfortable sleeping base.
The LuxuryLite UltraLite Cot’s unique, patented bow-frame design employs lightweight, collapsible anodized aluminum poles and durable nylon feet to keep you up above rocks, roots and uneven ground. Additionally, this construction eliminates the painful crossbars, squeaky joints and broken hardware that many traditional cots are prone to suffer. It also allows the full packed weight of the LuxuryLite UltraLite Cot to be a mere 2 pounds, 6 ounces (for the Regular size). The cot will support a maximum weight of 325 pounds, but, if you weigh less than 175 pounds, you can leave behind a few of the pole sections and nylon feet to reduce the cot’s weight!
While you will enjoy the most comfort by using a sleeping pad (not included) on top, the LuxuryLite UltraLite Cot can be used on its own. The full dimensions of the cot are 24" x 72" (for the Regular size). A Large size is also available, which measures 26" x 77". Both sizes stand 4.5 inches off of the ground when set up.
A stuff sack is included with each Therm-a-Rest LuxuryLite UltraLite Cot.

Real Customer Reviews
- Best sleep so far
Comfortable with or without sleep pad
Good comfort for side sleeper
Ability to change support where you need it and how much you need.
Fits nicely in our Kelty trail ridge 3 tent
Dislikes: Takes a bit of force/strength when attaching the support rods to main frame but after a using it a few times it got easier.
Likes: I bought this cot for myself in the past, and loved it. Then I bought one for my wife to get her to go backpacking with me in the Mission Mountain Wilderness of Montana. It worked! She loves the cot and the comfort as did I. When I reviewed my purchase, I was concerned about sharp edges on the the inserted poles. I mentioned this to Therm-a-rest and the poles now have rounded plugs, but I am sure they thought of this themselves.
If you can take a little more weight, these cots are well worth the money, especially for those like us with mid 60's bones! But, it is the weight that is the reason I did not give the product 5 stars. It can be minimized some however. Great product from a quality c
Dislikes: The price is a bit steep. The weight somewhat of an issue, probably more for an extended trip. Well worth it for a 2-3 nighter!
