- Not for me
Likes: I loved the loft of the quilt, the feel of the material and the width was perfect (I'm 5'10"). Ultimately not the right gear selection for me but I can see why so many people like it.
Dislikes: The Corus wasn't for me. The section at the foot of the quilt that slides over the sleeping pad isn't very long and it popped off my pad several times and the foot box was tight to me. It requires the purchase of a Mattress Snap Kit to make it an additional level of compatible with a sleeping pad. It is also an expensive piece of gear. I have no issue with paying for great items, but this one fell short for me, especially with other fairly comparable items on the market.
Ultimately I decided to go with the Big Agnes Kings Canyon UL Quilt. No additional purchases are needed because it has loops and a shock cord (like bungee cord) tie and loops so that you can connect it around your sleeping pad to make it more like a sleeping bag or just leave it open like a blanket. It has a similar temp rating, weighs much less and is much less expensive.
- Will not go back to a sleeping bag.
Likes: This thing is incredible. I hate being constricted in a bag. This allows me to sprawl out all over the place it's wonderful!!
Dislikes: I'm a little worried about the snaps that are on the fabric. It feels like they could be easily ripped out. Have not had any issues yet.
- high quality
Likes: very high quality product and material
Dislikes: not the lightest quilt out there by a longshot... went with another brand.
- Awesome but narrow
Likes: Soft. Warm. Compressible. If it fits your pad, you cant go wrong. Quality seems really good.
Dislikes: Too narrow for a 25" sleeping pad, which bummed me out, really loved everything about this otherwise.
- Comfortable and lightweight
Likes: Bottom slips onto foot of sleeping pad. Packs down small. Comes with a mesh sack for long term storage, and a nylon stuff sack for the trail. Kept me warm down into the low 40s, though I wouldn't want to take it much lower than that without wearing some extra clothes.
Dislikes: Might get cold below 40F.
- Great Value
Likes: It's lightweight and warm.
- Goodbye sleeping bag. Hello quilt
Likes: I just used this quilt on a 8 day trip this last week. I LOVE this quilt. It packs down small. It is so light and roomy. I don't feel restricted AT all. I am 5'4" but bought the long quilt for the added width at the top. Sometimes I have a little one that ends up in my bag with me in the middle of the night. The width at the top allows for us both to be tucked in nice and warm. This quilt has been a great replacement for my backpacking and camping gear!
Dislikes: No dislikes!!
- Bought this quilt for back packing liked the lite weight.
Likes: Warm on 35 degree nights very lite weight compressed down good leaving good room in pack. I am sure it would be ok on 30 degree night along with exolite pad
