Equipped with a 2.5" thick foam base, an easy-to-use self-inflating design and a warm R-value of 5.4, the Therm-a-Rest Camper Deluxe is an affordable, comfortable option for year-round camping.

Balancing weight and comfort, the open-cell foam interior of the Camper Deluxe employs strategic die-cutting to provide supportive cushioning where it's needed most while shaving weight by reducing bulk in lower-pressure areas.

A self-inflating design allows you to simply unroll the Camper Deluxe and open the integrated air valve. The pad's foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Once the Camper Deluxe has inflated, you can achieve the full 2.5" thickness by adding a few puffs of air or fine-tune the density by pressing down lightly on the pad to release air.

The Therm-a-Rest Camper Deluxe is available in Regular (20" x 72" x 2.5") and Large (2.5" x 77" x 2.5") sizes. A stuff sack is included.

  • Self-inflating foam construction
  • Comfort mapping technology reduces pressure points and increases comfort
  • Textured surface reduces slips and durable bottom material resists punctures
  • R-value of 5.4
  • Stuff sack included

Super comfortable pad for a light-ish weight!

Likes: I like the size of this pad. I am a 5'9" 140 lbs women so the length and width is great for me. The 2.5" thickness is so comfortable. I cannot feel the ground and can play with the air to get it right where I like it. I haven't tried it in cold weather but it seems like it would be plenty warm. not noisy and loud when I move around and is great for side, stomach or back sleeping. It is It deflates very easily and fits back into its carry sack no problems or struggling.

Dislikes: It is a bit heavy for a backpacking sleeping pad but if you can stand the extra weight, it really is worth the comfort in my opinion. It also doesn't pack down the smallest but again worth the bigger size. I just strap it on the bottom of my pack. It takes a few more than a few breaths of air to get it to 2.5" thickness.

Likes: I like the extra width and thickness of the camper deluxe, I have the smaller backpacking T-A-R that I have used for about 9 years and it's still like new, but don't do as much backpack camping these days so the wider & thicker pad add's more R-rating & comfort for fall and winter camping.

Dislikes: Great product, just wish I bought one years ago !

Likes: Should have spent the extra money years ago. Couldn't believe the comfort. This pad may be a little heavy for backpacking but if you have the strength or can live without something else in your pack, it's worth it. Good quality materials and put together really well. Great minimalist car camping pad too! May just retire the old ridgerest.

Dislikes: Nothing yet.
