An ultra-lightweight, high-performance option for ultra-racing, trail running, or fast-and-light hiking and backpacking, Swix Sonic Pro Trail Carbon poles feature tactile cork grips and carbon construction. A “foldable” design enables the poles to pack down to just over 15” in length.
Rather than telescoping like traditional trekking poles, Sonic Pro Trail Carbon poles utilize a strong, lightweight internal cord and extend solidly into their full, fixed length by simply aligning the sections and pulling until the “click” confirms that the upper section has locked. To collapse the poles, simply press on the small release lock and refold the pole shaft sections. Integrated Velcro straps hold the collapsed sections together.
High-grade carbon fiber construction excellently balances weight and strength, enabling the poles to weigh in at roughly 12 ounces per pair. Small diameter Trail baskets help to deflect debris and keep the pole tips from sinking too deeply into soft ground.
Natural, ergonomic cork grips serve as tactile handholds. An extended EVA foam portion at the bottom of the handle lets you “choke up” on side hill traverses to improve efficiency and help maintain balance. Integrated webbed straps help to reduce stress on your wrists. The soft material of the straps feels great next-to-skin and built-in adjustability lets you personalize fit.
Sold in pairs, Swix Sonic Pro Trail Carbon trekking poles are available in your choice of fixed, non-adjustable lengths. While not individually adjustable, the poles are available in 105 cm, 110 cm, 115 cm, 120 cm, 125 cm, 130 cm, and 135 cm size options to accommodate users of varying heights.

Real Customer Reviews
- Used these trekking poles on a 12 mile hike on the pinhoti. Poles are extremely light but seem to be durable. The strap on the handle needs some getting used to. The way I held the poles the strap would pinch my hand between the thumb and pointer finger.
Likes: Very light and durable cork handles are comfortable and the single length is great because there are less parts to break.
Dislikes: Strap will pinch your hand if not held a certain way.
