Delivering all-weather reliability, lightweight packability, and a number of comfort features, the Sierra Designs Zissou Plus 700 3-Season sleeping bag is a high performance option for backpacking or camping.
Renowned for their efficiency in retaining heat and compressible properties, the feathers and fibers of duck down have an incredibly soft, comfortable feel and, despite advances in synthetic materials, continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The one inherent weakness of down insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet; but DriDown performs differently. Employing a unique, innovative polymer application, DriDown actually creates a hydrophobic finish on each individual plume of down. This treatment results in insulation that stays dry longer and dries faster, should it become wet, than untreated down. Perhaps most impressively, this allows the insulation to retain 98% of its loft which translates into maintained warmth that untreated down bags simply cannot achieve.
The Zissou Plus 700 3-Season bag’s 30D Polyester Ripstop shell fabric further protects the bag’s interior and, along with a relaxed mummy shape, maintains the overall lightweight construction. An ergonomic hood helps reduce heat loss by keeping your head warm and comfortable. Dual zippers provide a fold-down quilt feature that allows you to regulate thermal efficiency for varying temperatures. Baffled sidewalls give the bag depth to maximize the feeling of livability while retaining warmth.
The Sierra Designs Zissou Plus 700 3-Season sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 6' 0") and Long (fits up to 6' 6") lengths. A stuff sack and storage sack are included.

Real Customer Reviews
- This is in amazing item love it. i use it on backpacking hikes that are over night. took it to new zealand
Likes: very worm, down sizes in to very small size
- NOWHERE NEAR AS WARM AS RATED!
Likes: beautiful. nice silky feel. super-light
Dislikes: NOT THAT WARM. COMFORT LEVEL VASTLY OVER-RATED. I WAS COLD AT 40 DEGREES AND HAD TO PUT A WOOL BLANKET OVER IT. WHOEVER TEMP TESTS THESE BAGS MUST BE FAT AND VERY HAIRY. OR THEY TEST THEM INSIDE A HEATED TENT. SUPPOSED TO BE FINE TO 23 OR CLOSE. FORGET IT! IF YOU WANT TO BE WARM, GET A BIG BASIN COLEMAN AND PUT THIS BAG INSIDE! BRRR. MAY HAVE TO RETURN FOR A MARMOT.
- Warm sleeping bag that packs down small
Likes: Zipper on both side allows for more comfortable sleep on warmer nights. Great down fill for the price. Spacious footbox.
Dislikes: Too small for someone who is 6 foot. Get the long.
- Roomy bag at a light weight
Likes: I wanted a bag that gave a bit of extra room but didn't weigh a ton. This is the one. Haven't tested in cold weather yet (still summer) but feels very warm. Came with a nice large storage bag in addition to stuff sack.
Dislikes: None yet.
- Awesome sleeping bag and very comfortable
Likes: i usually prefer to use my gear in a car camping to see how it serves before taking it into the woods with me. I used this sleeping bag this for a 2 night salmon fishing adventure and it really served me well. The weather was around 35F at nights and with my NeoAir XTherm Max, it was very cosy and comfortable. i went into the sleeping bag with thermal paths, wool socks, short sleeves and long sleeves on top and in 15 min, i ended up just thermal pants and short sleeves, very cosy, very comfortable. I am 6'2 and 200 pounds and a side sleeper and have very comfortable sleeps. it reserved its spot in my backpack for back-country hikes.. And the stuff sack became a very comfortable pillow as well.
Dislikes: even though marketed as Anti-snag zippers, they do snag quite often. Like at least 10 times in 2 nights.
