A classic, utilitarian option for effectively packing sleeping bags, clothes, and apparel, the Sea to Summit Compression Sack helps you make the most of the space available in your backpack.
The sack’s 70D PU-coated nylon fabrication strikes an excellent balance between weight and durability (Note that while the fabric is highly water-resistant, the seams aren’t tape sealed so the Compression Sack should not be used as a true dry bag). A flip-top lid keeps the four side straps from tangling and eliminates uneven shaping as you compress contents. The straps are cut long to make the sack more manageable than traditional compression sacks.
The Sea to Summit Compression Sack is available in Xsmall (5.5” x 14”; compresses from 6L to 2L), Small (7” x 16”; 10L to 3.3L), Medium (8” x 18”; 15L to 5L), Large (9” x 20”; 20L to 6.5L), and Xlarge (10.5” x 23”; 30L to 10L) size options.
- Flip-Top-Lid design prevents strap tangling
- Made of 70D PU-coated nylon
- 4 straps for even compression; eliminates bulging
- Extra long straps so it's easy to fill these to max capacity
- Nylon webbing pull handle on bottom
- Note: seams are not tape-sealed; therefore this product is not waterproof - only water resistant
Real Customer Reviews
- Does exactly what I wanted it to do
Likes: I got the XL green version, and it compresses our Big Agnes Cabin Creek double sleeping bag (which is sizeable!) small enough to juuuuuust fit into the sleeping bag compartment in our Deuter Aircontact Lite 65+10. The compression sack is easy to use and seems sturdy.
Dislikes: None, really. I wish the green were a more cheerful shade, but I didn't buy it for looks.
- Nice compression sack
Likes: Liked this really well. Compressed my thermarest questar sleeping bag and pillow down to a nice manageable size to tuck away in the bottom of my backpack. Will look to add more of these to my gear.
