The sturdy Salomon Men’s Speedcross 4 GTX running shoe delivers lightweight support and traction for trail racing and mountain running. A heavily lugged outsole and waterproof construction equip the shoe for demanding terrain.
The tightly woven and reinforced fabrics used on the upper of the Men’s Speedcross 4 GTX are water-resistant and a fully waterproof GORE-TEX liner further ensures that your feet stay dry and comfortable. The upper also offers excellent abrasion resistance while keeping debris from getting inside the shoe. Strategic overlays shed mud and bolster durability while a protective TPU cap softens the impact of rocks and roots. Fit is assured with the lightweight QuickLace system. A streamlined pocket in the tongue allows you tuck away any excess lacing.
Under foot, Salomon’s Lightweight Muscle chassis offers excellent cushioning especially in the heel which can take a beating on technical trails and rocky outcroppings. Molded and injected EVA foam in the midsole maximizes comfort while an Ortholite sockliner further enhances comfort and fit. With a 31mm heel and 21mm forefoot, the Speedcross 4 GTX has a 10mm drop. Anticipating the potential for tackling mud and snow, the Speedcross 4 GTX’s non-marking Contagrip outsole utilizes extremely aggressive lugs to deliver enhanced traction.
Sold in pairs, the Salomon Men’s Speedcross 4 GTX all-mountain running shoe is available in men's full and half sizes.

Real Customer Reviews
Likes: These are very light, well made and should last. Excellent tread.
More made for running than hiking, although they work well as a good, lightweight hiking shoe. Feet stay dry. Very comfortable. Did I say light?
Dislikes: I think I'd rather have conventional laces.
Spent this last weekend at a dirt bike rally. Walked in muddy, puddled and super wet dirt track trails. Never slipped. Hosed them down when done and dried in the sun in no time! Good looking too!
