A versatile hooded top in cool weather or serious base-layer for extreme cold weather endeavors in demanding conditions, the Patagonia Women’s R1 Hoody is made from Patagonia’s Regulator grid fleece and delivers outstanding stretch, breathability and durability.
The R1 Hoody manages moisture and insulates due to the high-to-low interior grid polyester/spandex blend fabric made with Polartec Power Dry, and its microfiber face makes the R1 Hoody breathable and compressible while maintaining durability and warmth.
Raglan sleeve construction ensures comfort while wearing a pack, and a single, zippered chest pocket provides a place to safely stow small items. The snug-fitting balaclava-style hood works with the deep-venting offset center-front zipper to provide chin comfort when deployed. A lightweight micro-grid stretch polyester in the thumb-looped cuffs and lower back lends minimal bulk and quick dry times.
With a slim fit that’s accommodating to light base layers underneath or as a stand-alone top or lightweight mid-layer, the Patagonia Women’s R1 Hoody is available in your choice of size and color.

Likes: I have been itching to buy an R1 hoody for some time. Backcountry Edge gave me the perfect opportunity to purchase one with the 20% off deal when I signed up for membership.
I have used my hoody both fishing and hiking. It proves to be an excellent layer to block the wind. I was up in the White Mountains in mid October on a blustery day and found it to have ample protection.
Like all Patagonia products it is well made. I am looking forward to using it again on my next outdoor adventure!
Dislikes: There isn't anything so far that I dislike about my hoody.
