Ideal for everything from backpacking to climbing to everyday wear, the Patagonia Men’s Nano Puff Hoody delivers lightweight, packable warmth. Its PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco fill offers reliable performance even in wet conditions.

Meeting Patagonia’s rigorous performance standards while also lessening environmental impact by utilizing 55% recycled content, the jacket’s compressible PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco holds warmth in crucial areas of heat loss. A unique “brick” quilt pattern keeps the insulation in place to ensure a light and comfortable layer of warmth whether you’re wearing the jacket as an outer layer or beneath a weatherproof shell. Windproof and water-resistant 100% recycled and bluesign-approved polyester exterior fabric is treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, bolstering weather protection. A wicking interior wind flap behind the center front zipper keeps drafty gusts and moisture at bay while the drawcord-adjustable hem is also ready to seal out cold wind. A fully-insulated hood further extends coverage and increases warmth.

Other features include two zippered hand warmer pockets, a drop-tail hem, and a zippered internal chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket when you need to pack it down and stow it away.

With a regular fit that’s designed for comfortable layering, the Patagonia Men’s Nano Puff Hoody is available in a variety of color and size options.

Warm AND Lightweight
Reviewed by Joseph V. - November 7, 2017

Likes: This jacket is awesome. Warm and lightweight enough to bring on any occasion when you may expect chilly weather. For me, good to 40 degrees with just a t shirt underneath. With a decent long sleeve baselayer, good to 30 degrees, maybe even lower depending on activity. Being windproof probably helps its warmth factor.

Dislikes: None so far.

Excellent Trekking Poles

Likes: Jacket fit. Medium fit well with room for a midweight layer under it. (medium - 5'7" 175lbs)

Dislikes: Tight in the shoulders

Nice hoody!
Reviewed by Scott S. - May 3, 2017

Likes: Pretty warm and not too bulky. Very attractive design.
Fit is not as boxy as some other Patagonia gear. I'm 6'1" 175, and the medium fits well. Hood is great.

Dislikes: None

Good thin coat!
Reviewed by Ruben - April 30, 2017

Likes: Very packable
Surprisingly warm for how thin it is
Lots of large pockets
Insulated hood fits well under a tight helmet or stretches over it.
The elastic bands on the sleeves keep you warm.
I've been biking in it on windy chilly days and it does well keeping me warm.

Dislikes: There's not much "puff" to it.
A little thinner than expected but it makes a great sweater for fall/spring days.
