The Patagonia Men’s Down Sweater Hoody utilizes ethically sourced featherweight 800 fill power goose down to deliver reliable warmth for everything from backpacking to climbing to wear around town. A durable water repellent finish offers weather-resistance.
Due to the high loft and compressibility of the 800 fill-power European goose down, the Down Sweater Hoody can be packed into its own interior, stretch mesh stuff-sack pocket (with reinforced carabiner clip-in loop) and pulled from your pack or a climbing harness when you need extra warmth. Patagonia's Traceable Down is verified by an independent third-party organization to be ethically sourced from geese that are not live-plucked or used in foie gras production.
An ultra-lightweight and windproof 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell with high abrasion resistance is treated with Patagonia’s Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish for increased weather resistance. A fully insulated and helmet-compatible hood, bound elastic cuffs and a drawcord hem seal in warmth and keep drafts out. Two zippered hand warmer pockets with water resistant zippers are ready to warm chilly hands.
With a regular fit that accommodates layering, the Patagonia Men’s Down Sweater Hoody is available in a variety of color and size options.

Real Customer Reviews
- Love the jacket but not how easily the down feathers come out
Likes: Fit (I"m 5'8, stocky build and a Medium is perfect)
Dislikes: A down feather came out from the seams which led to a small hole. I did not snag it on anything. Had to use tenacious tape to cover up the hole.
Likes: Great jacket— warm, lightweight, well cut and comfortable!
- This product is awesome.
Likes: Very poofy jacket. Incredibly warm but remember to wear layers.
Dislikes: Not fully waterproof.
- Great down jacket overall. Very warm, especially with the hood up and all the way zipped up. Down side pockets are very warm as well.
Likes: Warmth, fit, look.
Dislikes: Hood could fold down a little better when not up.
- Warm box
Likes: Nice details
Dislikes: Boxy fit
- Warm and good fit
Likes: Warmth-to-weight ratio seems good. So far I have worn it in below 40 degree temperatures with just one layer underneath and have been comfortable. It stands up well to strong wind. I haven't yet tested it's water resistance. The fit is slim and perfect for me. I have a medium and am 5'11" and 150 lbs. The hood sits comfortably in wind and has an adjustable cord to tighten it if necessary which is a nice feature. Overall, a no nonsense kind of jacket that is functional and looks good.
Dislikes: Can't think of one!
- Warm and Lightweight
Likes: The hood is awesome- easy to adjust and actually stays on your head.
Warm and cozy, like wearing a sleeping bag.
Dislikes: None yet :)
- love it
Likes: looks nice, feels great, keeps me warm
Dislikes: no dislikes
