The Patagonia Men’s Down Sweater Hoody utilizes ethically sourced featherweight 800 fill power goose down to deliver reliable warmth for everything from backpacking to climbing to wear around town. A durable water repellent finish offers weather-resistance.
Due to the high loft and compressibility of the 800 fill-power European goose down, the Down Sweater Hoody can be packed into its own interior, stretch mesh stuff-sack pocket (with reinforced carabiner clip-in loop) and pulled from your pack or a climbing harness when you need extra warmth. Patagonia's Traceable Down is verified by an independent third-party organization to be ethically sourced from geese that are not live-plucked or used in foie gras production.
An ultra-lightweight and windproof 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell with high abrasion resistance is treated with Patagonia’s Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish for increased weather resistance. A fully insulated and helmet-compatible hood, bound elastic cuffs and a drawcord hem seal in warmth and keep drafts out. Two zippered hand warmer pockets with water resistant zippers are ready to warm chilly hands.
With a regular fit that accommodates layering, the Patagonia Men’s Down Sweater Hoody is available in a variety of color and size options.

- Traditional "puffy" Jacket does exactly what was expected. Used to hike and camp in colder weather. Does a good job of holding in heat.
Likes: Comfortable and easily compressed into pocket or storage and backpacking
Hood is nice touch for around camp in evening and in the mornings.
Dislikes: not sure how durable it will be, still new
- Excellent Product
Dislikes: Durability could be an issue down the line.
For some the fit near the waist may be a little snug.
- good product but fits weird
Likes: I like Patagonia workmanship and quality of the jacket
Dislikes: I do not like how the jacket fits, it feels longer than I expected and chest area feels tight.
- Great Jacket
Likes: lightweight, warm, packable
- Great Product but runs very small
Likes: Super nice product, well built, and keeps you warm. All things one could ever want in a puffy.
Dislikes: It runs super duper small; like comically small.
- Love the jacket but not how easily the down feathers come out
Likes: Fit (I"m 5'8, stocky build and a Medium is perfect)
Dislikes: A down feather came out from the seams which led to a small hole. I did not snag it on anything. Had to use tenacious tape to cover up the hole.
Likes: Great jacket— warm, lightweight, well cut and comfortable!
