Whether worn as a base layer or as a glove liner, the Outdoor Research Women's PL 400 Glove provides excellent warmth. Double layer construction creates a smooth exterior and an insulating interior. Strategically placed silicone prints prevent slippage when the glove is used as a liner. The silicone prints also increase weather protection and provide abrasion resistance and dexterity when the Women's PL 400 Glove is used by itself. MotionWrap construction keeps seams to a minimum, ensuring a comfortable fit.

Likes: These gloves are soft and comfortable. They would work well as a liner, but I use them by themselves mostly. The wristband is not restrictive, and the silicone "prints" are grippy enough for grasping items from pockets, etc. They are warm enough for cool weather, but I'd use a mitt over them for cold, windy days.
Dislikes: The fit was a bit wrong - the size that fits the circumference of my hand has really long fingers. Not a big deal because I often have this problem with any gloves. However, I could tell that the pair I received had been previously returned. There were no tags, and they appeared to have been repackaged. Also, I found small plastic pieces inside the gloves near the fingertips that I had to fish out of the gloves (looked like the little plastic things that attach tags to clothing). Not a deal breaker, but bothersome nonetheless.
