Made of water-resistant, breathable packcloth, Outdoor Research Men's Rocky Mountain High Gaiters offer full-length protection from mud, snow and debris. Ideal for hiking, backpacking or winter activities, Men's Rocky Mountain High Gaiters provide all-season performance.

A Hypalon instep strap provides further stability. A hook/loop shear tab prevents separation at the front, lower portion of the gaiters. Men's Rocky Mountain High Gaiters can be worn with hiking boots or heavier winter boots.

Likes: Well made, quality construction and seem to serve their purpose.

Dislikes: The fit, I have large calves and even though I can wear them they are uncomfortable. This is a personal issue for me. I will be returning them for the shorter style from OR. If you happen to have large calves I wouldn't recommend this style, IJS.

Likes: Worked great for high alpine hikes in the spring/early summer when there were still patches of snow to be found. Throw on the gaiters & keep the loose snow pack out of your boots!

Dislikes: If I were planning on using the gaiters for multiple days in a row I may opt for the fully waterproof version.

Likes: Great gaiters for the price. They work well at keeping my pants dry and keep the brush from doing any damage. Plus, they're pretty low maintenance.

Dislikes: Unlike my wife's pair, these won't fit over my winter boots, so I can't use them in the winter. Nothing about them is replaceable, so if anything breaks on them, I have to buy a whole new pair.
