The warm, ultra-lightweight, body-mapped Outdoor Research Men's Cathode Hooded Jacket employs high-performance 22D Pertex Quantum fabric and PrimaLoft Gold insulation. Its ability to stow inside its own pocket makes it ideal inclusion when packing for winter backpacking trips, ski tours, or alpine adventures.
While the Pertex Quantum shell fabric on the body of the jacket delivers excellent wind-resistance and water-resistance, stretch panels on the sides and under the arms provide excellent freedom of movement and touch of breathability. The Primaloft Gold synthetic insulation delivers reliable warmth even in wet conditions. A fully insulated and adjustable hood extends coverage and enhances warmth.
Other features include elastic cuffs, an elastic drawcord hem, an internal front storm flap behind the full-length zipper, a zippered chest pocket, and dual zippered handwarmer pockets. The left handwarmer pocket also doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket.
Available in your choice of size and color options, the Outdoor Research Men’s Cathode Hooded Jacket has a trim, aerobic fit that allows you to wear baselayers or low-profile baselayers beneath it or a hard shell over top of it.
