Real Customer Reviews
- Better Than The Helium II Version
Likes: Finally tested this in several days of Seattle's rainy weather. The pit zips & the hooded brim with an Outdoor Research waterproof cap is a must.
Dislikes: So far none,...
- OR Helium HD is a great rain jacket
Likes: Light weight, Pit zips, pockets. Previously used the OR Helium II rain jacket however it did not have pit zips or pockets which were important points that I am glad the HD resolved.
- So Far So Good
Likes: This jacket is extremely light and as such will be easy to pack on my overseas trip to Europe in October. Not only will it take up little space in my luggage but it won't add any weight to my suitcase so this will help me avoid overweight luggage fees. As for its performance in the rain I have only worn it twice in a normal rainstorm. It kept me totally dry and the hood worked well in keeping rain off my face (I rarely use an umbrella cause most turn inside out in the wind where I live). I will update my review if I ever get caught in a downpour and it fails to perform well. Fingers crossed this will be my one and only review of this stylish and comfortable rain jacket.
Dislikes: As of now I can't find any negatives about this jacket.
- Great lightweight rain jacket
Likes: Lightweight, ultra-packable, big enough to ware a down jacket under,
Dislikes: It packs down in a weird shape but not a deal breaker
- The Best!
Likes: Everything, hands down the nicest rain jacket I have ever owned! Comfortable, packable, light, and the best hood design I have encountered! Unparalleled service from B.C.E!
Dislikes: I don't live in Seattle so I can't wear it every day!
- This is nice
Likes: Lightweight, very packable, adjustable wire in hood, keeps me dry
Dislikes: Tough to get it packed into its chest pocket
