Real Customer Reviews
- A wider strap would've been nice, but otherwise just what I wanted.
Likes: I did a fair amount of research into this pack before I bought it and as long as you know why you're getting this pack, I don't think you'll be disappointed. My primary uses are day hikes/trips and minimalist "backpacking" vacations where I won't be doing any camping. The pack wraps comfortably around my hip, taking weight off my shoulders and keeping me more comfortable. The hip pockets are nice and large, and the main compartment is decently spacious. Easily enough for 3+ t-shirts, a long-sleeved shirt, some underwear & socks, and some room to spare. The side bottles get the job done, but I'd leave them at home on longer trips to make use of the space. Compression straps help keep everything stable, and there's enough places to hook on whatever extras you may need to carry. I paid closer to $55 for this which I think is more reasonable than the $75 MSRP, so look around for a deal as $75 is probably worth more than what you get. Overall though, happy with the pack and would buy again.
Dislikes: Two main issues: the front strap that buckles around your waist really needs to be 2" thick, or at least 1.5". It's okay as it is, but it would feel much more stable and comfortable with a thicker strap. This alone brings it down to 4 stars for me. The other issue is with the bottles, which are curved and so can't be stood upright. Not a big issue for me, but something others may find annoying.
- Comfy & just big enough
Likes: I found this pack comfortable for about 40 oz of water, light jacket, book, light hammock, and snacks.
Dislikes: would like the belt buckle to be wider
- I really like the product
Likes: I bought this pack with the only intention of using it when going on a mountain bike ride and I really like it now my back is not all sweaty at the end of the ride and I can take everything I need when going riding
Dislikes: I didn't find anything that wrong with it
- What every hiker needs
Likes: This is great for keeping water nearby to hydrate but I find the unit gives me some lower back support while hiking
Dislikes: I can't say I have any
