Ideal for day hiking, adventure racing and other active pursuits, the Osprey Talon 22 is sleek and functional. Despite weighing less than 2 pounds, the Talon 22 is capable of comfortably carrying loads of up to 20 pounds.

Employing ridge molded foam and a built-in air "chimney," the Talon 22's AirScape backpanel provides flexible support and breathability to combat heat build-up between your back and the pack body. Both the Biostretch hipbelt and Talon Biostretch adjustable harness straps are padded with die-cut slotted foam and covered in mesh to keep weight to a minimum. Together they enhance comfort and optimize fit. InsideOut compression straps on the lower sides allow you to cinch down the Talon 22 and keep contents safely in place for load control.

Accommodating users of different dimensions, the Talon 22 is available in two sizes: Small/Medium fits torsos ranging from 16"-20" in length and the Medium/Large size fits torsos that are between 19" and 23" in length. The storage capacity varies based on size, as well: Small/Medium is 1220 cubic inches and Medium/Large is 1343 cubic inches.

Stretch woven pockets on the front and sides of the Talon 22 offer additional organizational options and keep gear and extra layers close at hand. A small dedicated stretch pocket on the Talon 22's shoulder strap is perfect for snacks, energy gels or electronics. Large zippered pockets on the hipbelt further offer quick and easy access to other gear and trail essentials.

Other features found on the Talon 22 include a single Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachment on the shoulder strap, a single ice tool attachment with a bungee tie-off and a patterned reflective graphic for visibility in low light situations. A lined, exterior compartment makes the Talon 22 compatible with hydration systems (sold separately) and makes it possible to refill your reservoir without having to access the interior of the pack. An integrated LidLock clip securely stows a helmet without reducing the Talon 22's storage capacity.

The Osprey Talon 22 is available in your choice of size and color options.

Great, Functional Day pack

Likes: This pack is well thought out with tons of adjustability options that provide you with the ability to maximize comfort for a variety of uses. It has great storage packets as well with one large, main compartment that has a smaller zippered mesh pocket in it, a smaller separate compartment at top, a buckled mesh compartment on the front, and two small zippered compartments on the hip belt. Overall a great pack for day hiking, biking, etc.
