Built for long day hikes and overnights in the backcountry the lidded Osprey Sirrus 36 Women’s internal frame backpack combines carrying comfort ventilation and organizational features to deliver lightweight technical performance.

Committed to providing all outdoor enthusiasts with optimal performance Osprey equips its women's packs with gender-specific design features. Harnesses are cut wider through the collarbone area and have an ergonomic taper in the chest area. Offering a women's specific cant and a narrower cut the hipbelts found on Osprey's women's packs also cater to female users.

Employing Osprey's Airspeed Suspension the pack’s tensioned mesh back panel provides flexible support and breathability to combat heat build-up between your back and the pack body. Both the hipbelt and harness straps are padded with die-cut foam and covered in mesh to enhance comfort and optimize fit. Accommodating backpackers of varying size the Sirrus 36 Women’s pack is available in Xsmall/Small (fits torso lengths ranging from 13”-17”) and Small/Medium (16”-20”) size options. Adjustability in the harness load-lifter straps and sternum strap enhance fit.

The storage capacity of the Xsmall/Small pack is 2014 cubic inches and the Small/Medium has a 2197 cubic inch capacity. In addition to its traditional top access point the main packbag can be reached through a zippered side panel entry. Additionally a lower compartment serves as a dedicated spot for stowing your sleeping bag or other clothes and gear. A front zippered stash pocket two side stretch pockets and dual pockets on the pack’s fixed lid offer additional organizational options.

Other features include a Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachment removable sleeping pad straps an ice axe attachment with a stowable bungee tie-off and an integrated rain cover. A lined internal sleeve and drinking tube pass-throughs make the pack hydration compatible (hydration system sold separately).

Excellent Pack

Likes: While this pack is excellent, my wife decided to go with the Osprey Kyte. Returning this one was no problem. Thanks for the great service.

good day pack or overnight pack for minimalists
Reviewed by cyanogen - September 11, 2018

Likes: Thick, durable fabric, integrated rain cover, separate lower and upper compartments for organization. Very effective frame that distributes the weight on your hips. I have tried many backpacks, this one was really comfortable to carry. It would work well for a long day hike, or even for short multiday trips if you are a minimalist. I think it is a bit overkill for shorter day hikes, as it is too bulky. I got the larger size to have the 36L volume, it fits me well, I am 5`4``.

Dislikes: Bulky straps and waist belt. I was hoping that this would serve both as a technical pack and a travel pack, but I don't think I will carry this around for casual trips due to its bulk. Inside space is quite limited, maybe the volume advertised includes outer pockets. I thought the side zipper would come in handy for access, but it is pretty useless as it doesn't go all the way to the top. When fully packed, the front and top pocket would only accommodate few items, not stretchable. And finally too expensive.

Goldilocks Bag!
Reviewed by Chase S. - August 27, 2018

Likes: This bag is just the right size. My wife didn't want to have a big day pack and an overmight pack and this one fits the bill for both. With the compression straps it looks normal for day hikes. It also holds a lot more gear than I would have thought at first glance. This is a high quality bag. Wife also loves the color.
We chose this over the Mira because of the adjustability. We haven't had luck with the AG system fitting either of us quite right.

Dislikes: None. This is a fantastic pack.

Excellent Backpack
Reviewed by Margit P. - August 9, 2018

Likes: The versatile features that seem to hit every need. Really amazing, that there is a vertical zipper that you can access stuff deep down in the backpack. The Pack is really lightweight and comfortable to wear. I love everything about it and the 36L is the perfect size for an overnight hike/camp trip.
