Built for fast-moving day hikes and summit assaults, the Osprey Sirrus 24 Women’s pack combines carrying comfort, ventilation and organizational features to deliver lightweight, technical performance.
Committed to providing all outdoor enthusiasts with optimal performance, Osprey equips its women's packs with gender-specific design features. Harnesses are cut wider through the collarbone area and have an ergonomic taper in the chest area. Offering a women's specific cant and a narrower cut, the hipbelts found on Osprey's women's packs also cater to female users.
Employing Osprey's Airspeed Suspension, the Sirrus 24 Women’s pack’s 3D tensioned mesh backpanel provides flexible support and breathability to combat heat build-up between your back and the pack body. Both the hipbelt and harness straps are padded with die-cut foam and covered in mesh to enhance comfort and optimize fit. A webbing adjustable sternum strap further optimizes fit and includes a whistle buckle for safety. Upper side compression straps work in tandem with the InsideOut compression built on to the woven-mesh side pockets to allow you to cinch down the Sirrus 24 and keep contents stabilized.
A large U-shaped zipper provides convenient front panel access to the Sirrus 24 Women’s pack’s main packbag while a suite of other zippered compartments also aid in organization. A large zippered top stash pocket and a zippered front pocket are included, as well as zippered pockets on the hipbelt to keep small gear and trail essentials close at hand.
Other features found on the Sirrus 24 Women’s pack include a single Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachment on the shoulder strap, removable sleeping pad straps, a single ice tool attachment with a stowable bungee tie-off and an integrated rain cover. A lined internal sleeve and drinking tube pass-throughs make the Sirrus 24 compatible with hydration systems (sold separately).

- It's a match!
Likes: This is a very comfortable pack. I am 5'4" with broad shoulders so I need a size small pack with a medium harness. I was having a difficult time finding a day pack to fit me as most do most have an interchangeable harness. This one is great and the bowed back to keep my back cool was a huge plus when deciding on this one. It has all the bells and whistles expected with an Osprey. Very pleased
Dislikes: If there is a dislike it would be with the bowed back you lose pack space but I was fully aware of that when I bought it.
- Just right for a day hike
Likes: This pack is the perfect size for a day hike with just enough space for an extra layer, snacks, hydration reservoir, and a few other essentials. I love Osprey's stow on the go system for trekking poles and I'm very glad they did not skimp on this small detail on the smaller 24L pack.
The hip belt is very comfortable.
Included rain cover is a bonus.
Dislikes: Just a few small gripes..... The hip belt pockets are a bit small. Anything bigger than an iPhone 5 might be a tight fit.
Really wish it had a stretchy mesh pocket on the front.
Also would have liked a small loop to attach a blinky light or for hanging extra gear.
- Phenomenal daypack
Likes: 2-thumb way up for the overall design of this pack, very well thought out. The frame is incredibly thin and light, with taut mesh webbing serving as the back support, about an inch or so away from the pack allows outstanding airflow (and comfort!). I greatly appreciate the both the intuitive buckle design (flush with pack to avoid snagging) and zipper loops (formed loops, easy to find & grab). Having an integrated rain cover has been an added bonus!
