The lightweight Osprey Poco AG child carrier utilizes an innovative suspension system to provide comfort and safety for you and your toddling adventurer. Note that the carrier is suitable for children who can sit up by themselves and comfortably carries up to 48 pounds (including child, carrier, and gear).
A huge cut above what you’ll find on most child carriers, the Anti-Gravity suspension system maximizes comfort, fit, breathability, and load-hauling capability. Lightweight, full-wrap aluminum tubing creates a sturdy frame and Injection-molded hinges allow the child carrier to stand safely and sturdily for stable loading. The frame folds down easily for storage and travel. A broad-mesh, tensioned backpanel stretches from the shoulder straps all the way out across the hipbelt. Though the pack maintains constant, responsive contact with the wearer, warm air can escape freely because of the separation caused between the mesh and the pack itself. Load-lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap further enhance fit and comfort. Providing "one size fits all" customization for Mom, Dad, or any other adult that puts it on, an easy-to-use cam buckle in the center of the backpanel has a 6" height-adjustability range.
A padded, height-adjustable cockpit and 5-point safety harness support and protect your passenger. Framing around your child ensures safety. A side entry with buckle closure allows you to easily situate your child in the seat. Adjustable stirrups serve as comfortable foot rests. An integrated, tuck-away sunshade shields your child from glare and harmful UV rays. The Poco AG Raincover (sold separately) can be used in tandem with the sunshade to provide complete weather protection for your child.
A large lower compartment and zippered front pocket combine to provide 1220 cubic inches of storage capacity for clothes, diapers and other gear. Pockets on the hipbelt and shoulder strap keep cell phones, keys and other essentials close at hand while an inner mesh security pocket safely stows valuables.
Additional features include mesh side pockets for toys or bottles, a front stretch stash pocket, a hydration sleeve integrated into the backpanel, and twin padded grab handles.

Real Customer Reviews
- My granddaughter loves it
Likes: Bought this for my daughter and son-in-law and they love it. Same great comfort of their backpacks, the pull out sun shade is very convenient and keeps the sun off my granddaughters head.
- Great pack
Likes: Very comfortable backpack. The sun shade is a critical feature for protecting your kid against the sun. Easily holds essentials (diapers, wipes, clothes, blanket)
Dislikes: hip belt pockets are a touch small for holding most cell phones, especially if your cell phone case is sturdy.
- Great pack
Likes: Really awesome. Super comfortable and the baby loves riding in it. I did a bunch of research comparing this and the AG Plus and am glad I decided on this. The price difference seemed to come down to extra storage in the AG Plus and I decided it wasn't worth it because my wife would have a pack as well.
Dislikes: Nothing really. The bigger storage pockets on the hip belt like the AG Plus would be a nice addition, but that's a minor gripe.
- Great quality.
Likes: Built very well. Everything zips and slides very well. My wife and I are two very different heights, this is able to adjust to both of us no problem. Keeps the baby safe, in the shade, and lots of padding for baby to sleep on hikes. We are able to use on a daily basis just if we need two hands.
Dislikes: Little heavy. But it’s worth the extra weight for features.
- Great pack for carrying todlers
Likes: Comfort, space to store stuff, sunshade, and stand
- Makes hiking easier
Likes: Sturdy build. Comfortable to wear all day. Plenty of room for a day's worth of stuff. Haven't had any problems with hot spots or pressure points.
Dislikes: Foot stirups are hard to adjust on the go.
- Flawed Hip Belt
Likes: Very nice pack, well made with nice materials. Nice child compartment and seems safe. The shoulder straps are very comfortable. Our 20 pound child seems pretty light in the pack. He seems to be comfortable in it.
Dislikes: The hip belt is very uncomfortable. There is a hard plastic ridge or piping along the bottom edge of the belt (where there is a sown seam) that digs into my wife's hips. This digging makes the pack unbearable to hike with. We are going to return it and try the Poco Plus AG to see if the hip belt is any different
