Blurring the lines between an everyday pack and a technical daypack, the Osprey Hikelite 26 looks at home on city streets or in the office but is also well-equipped with trail worthy features and 1587 cubic inches of storage capacity.
A "trampoline" style suspension system stretches a mesh backpanel across a tensioned LightWire aluminum frame, resulting in lightweight support, load stability, and ventilation. Padded, ventilated shoulder straps and a removable webbed hipbelt with padded hip "wings" further enhance fit and comfort. A sliding sternum strap adds additional fit adjustability.
In addition to the main packbag, there is a front stretch pocket, a scratch-resistant organization pocket, and stretch mesh side pockets. Other features include trekking pole attachment straps, a safety whistle integrated into the sternum strap buckle, and an included raincover in case weather takes a turn for the worse.
The Osprey Hikelite 26 daypack is available in your choice of color options.

Real Customer Reviews
- Awesome for day pack!
Likes: This pack is just the right size to hold enough for a day, but not too much extra (which can be helpful if you're prone to over-packing). I'm a pretty big guy and I was worried that his pack would be comedically small for me, but the suspension system and adjustable straps make for a great for fit. Although, the hip belt is more of a "belly" belt for me it still keeps the pack in place when I'm hiking. Overall it's a very basic but highly versatile pack.
Dislikes: Like the other reviews... It would be nice to have some additional internal origination, but it's not that big of a pack either.
- Great day pack.
Likes: Small size.
Dislikes: Little pocket separation.
- Lots of great features for a day pack
Likes: Capable of holding 3L reservoir
Light pack with frame
Stuff pocket for quick access
Included Raincover and pocket (large enough pocket I can store light rain jacket with it)
Dislikes: Wish there were more organization pockets
Side mesh pockets are a little short
The Hip strap is a little thin, would of preferred thicker
