A streamlined, versatile addition to your gear closet, the Osprey Daylite Plus doubles as a lightweight 1220 cubic inch daypack or a large pocket/removable daypack for compatible Osprey backpacks and luggage (sold separately). Integrated attachment points allow it to connect to any Osprey pack that has "Add-On" capability.
The pack's simple profile allows it to serve well as a backpack storage pocket, but a number of built-in carry features also make it a fully-functional daypack. A low-profile, tuck-away spacer mesh harness and removable webbing waist strap ensure comfort and a secure fit. A mesh covered backpanel provides support and ventilation.
In addition to the main compartment, there is a versatile front shove-it pocket, a separate, smaller zippered compartment, a small zippered front slash pocket, side mesh pockets, and a padded internal organizational sleeve that can accommodate a hydration system or a tablet (both sold separately).
The Osprey Daylite Plus is available in your choice of color options.

Real Customer Reviews
- Nice Everyday Pack
Likes: I got this for my daughter who is a college student and she loves the pack. She uses it for her everyday carry around campus and she says it is the perfect size to carry her laptop, wallet, extra layer and anything else she might need during the day.
- Perfect daypack (even commuter pack)
Likes: Small footprint for so much expandable room, outer pocket for sandals or wet clothes, connects to many Osprey packs for extra space/carry options
Dislikes: Hip belt isn't removable
- Good small pack
Likes: It's very good for hiking. It'll work for an everyday carry, but not the best choice for my daily commute and weekend adventures.
Good fabric and sturdy choice.
Affordable and joins with other osprey packs, which is handy.
Like all osprey bags, the straps are very comfortable and the back panel is surprisingly breathable.
Dislikes: The stuff pocket on the front is tiny and devours the inner main compartment capacity. If the main compartment is full-the stuff pocket is useless.
The compression straps get in the way of the zipper more than you realize it will.
It's very compact. No real organization, just a big main compartment with a sleeve you can use for a laptop and a small pocket on the front.
- Light Weight
Likes: Like the light weight, an exterior zipper pocket, color.
Dislikes: The shoulder straps are a bit high and dig into the neck.
- Great Volume & LiteWeight
Likes: -spacious area for file folders and/or packing cubes
-smaller compartment for organizing supplies
-front pouch to quickly stuff a hat, gloves, or raincoat
-properly positioned straps to pull everything in tightly
Dislikes: zippers do not move smoothly
- Excellent Pack
Likes: Very comfortable to wear. The design offers many options for sorting everyday items. Having two places to hold drink bottles or other gear is a huge plus.
- Great pack for quick summits
Likes: Holds everything I need for a quick 1-4 hour hike or summit. In true Osprey fashion it is of outstanding quality. Would recommend for anyone who likes short trail hikes or car/ever camping.
Dislikes: Would like to see a better h20 hose holder design.
- Great pack for day hikes!
Likes: It has great pockets and areas to store items for day hikes. The inner pocket has areas for organizing smaller items and the straps have the ability to adjust for comfort.
Dislikes: The side pockets do not seem to hold water bottles as well as other packs but are adequate.
- Great small pack
Likes: Roomy, lots of pockets, comfortable to wear
Dislikes: Side pockets for water bottles could be a bit deeper/feel more secure
