A streamlined, versatile addition to your gear closet, the Osprey Daylite doubles as a lightweight 793 cubic inch daypack or a large pocket/removable daypack for compatible Osprey backpacks and luggage (sold separately). Integrated attachment points allow it to connect to any Osprey pack that has "Add-On" capability.
The Daylite's simple profile allows it to serve well as a backpack storage pocket, but a number of built-in carry features also make it a fully-functional daypack. A low-profile, tuck-away spacer mesh harness and removable webbing waist strap ensure comfort and a secure fit. A mesh covered backpanel provides support and ventilation.
In addition to the main compartment, there is a separate, smaller zippered compartment, side mesh pockets, and an internal organizational sleeve that can accommodate a hydration system or a tablet (both sold separately).
The Osprey Daylite is available in your choice of color options.
- Large panel loading main compartment
- Side mesh pockets

- Does exactly what I expected
-
Likes: VERY comfortable. Plenty of room for rain jacket, small first aid kit, drinks, snacks, and my little bang bang. Price was good and delivery was fast. I actually purchased three. One for me, one for wife, one for friend. All are pleased.
Dislikes: Water bottle pockets impossible to reach without taking pack off. Taller bottles will fall out.
- Perfect size
-
Likes: Fits perfect on my porter.
Quality as expected from ospreyDislikes: I like it all
- Feels like a tiny version of my Ather 70 pro
-
Likes: Serious day/summit pack. Clips right onto my Osprey Atmos 70 Pro and only adds a pound. Perfect for hitting over 14,000 feet on Mt. Whitney for example. Osprey Hydraulics Reservoir - 2.0 liter fits like a glove. Feels like a tiny version of my Ather 70 pro. Same belt/straps and even the safety whistle right by my mouth at all times.
Dislikes: Kinda wishing I got the blue but it looked a little purple in the photos.
- Great lightweight daypack!
-
Likes: I bought this daypack for daily use when travelling and it is small enough to use as a second carry-on bag, yet just big enough to hold the essentials (rain gear, lunch, guide book, etc.). So far I've quite enjoyed using it.
Dislikes: The only problem I've found, as other reviewers have mentioned, is that water bottles easily fall out of the side pockets.
- Small but efficient
-
Likes: Small, holds a lot, light, comfortable, durable
Dislikes: Wished it was a tad bigger. The size up from this which runs around $15 more is perfect for day hikes as well
- Excellent pack
-
Likes: We bought this as a diaper bag for our son. It has compartment to hold all the stuff we need for an outing and is really comfortable to wear for a long period of time
Dislikes: The mesh side water bottle holder are a little small, the straps hold them in place but If they were deeper it would benefit it better
