The revolutionary Anti-Gravity Suspension system in the Osprey Aura AG 50 Women's pack delivers an unparalleled balance of support and ventilation. Load-hauling capability and smart organization add to its hard-earned trail cred.
Committed to providing all outdoor enthusiasts with optimal performance, Osprey equips its women's packs with gender-specific design features. Harnesses are cut wider through the collar bone area and have an ergonomic taper in the chest area. Offering a women's specific cant and a narrower cut, the hipbelts found on Osprey's women's packs also cater to female users.
An engineering work of art as much as a carrying system, Osprey's Anti-Gravity Suspension system equips the Aura AG 50 Women's pack with weight-carrying efficiency, breathability, and a contoured fit that'll nearly make you forget you have it on your back. A broad-mesh, tensioned backpanel stretches seamlessly from the shoulder straps all the way out across the hipbelt. Though the pack maintains constant, responsive contact with the wearer, warm air can escape freely because of the separation caused between the mesh and the pack itself. Innovative stiffeners in the load-lifters even enable the shoulder straps to stand away from your body without jeopardizing performance. Beneath the mesh, a lightweight aluminum frame provides support and distributes weight. A sliding sternum strap and an adjustable Fit-on-the-Fly hipbelt with extandable padded "fins" further enhance fit. Accommodating backpackers of different heights, the pack is available in your choice of sizes. The XSmall Aura AG 50 Women's pack fits torsos ranging from 14"-17", the Small fits from 16"-19", and the Medium accommodates torso lengths ranging from 18"-21". Built in adjustability in the harness makes it easy to reset the height of the shoulder straps to offer the best fit within those stated torso ranges.
Designed to comfortably carry 25-40 pounds of gear, the Aura AG 50 Women's pack lends versatility for outings ranging from overnight trips to fast-moving, light-packing extended backpacking trips. The XSmall size offers 2685 cubic inches of storage capacity, the Small offers 2868 cubic inches, and the Medium Aura AG 50 Women's pack has a 3051 cubic inch capacity. The main packbag has full top access and a divider between the main compartment and a separate front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unbuckle the divider and convert the Aura AG 50 to a single, large compartment.
A welded, stretch woven nylon pocket on the front of the pack allows you to stash extra layers or other gear. Dual zippered pockets located inside the floating lid of the Aura AG 50 provide other organizational options. If you want to save weight and/or you are traveling light, you can remove the lid entirely and use the integrated, low-profile FlapJacket lid to keep the contents of the packbag fully protected. Side compression straps help you cinch down your load and also serve as lash points for additional gear. Stretch woven side pockets are the perfect place for stashing water bottles or other smaller items.
The pack has integrated trekking pole loops and an internal lined sleeve and dual exit ports combine to make the Aura AG 50 Women's pack hydration compatible (hydration system not included). Zippered mesh pockets on the hipbelt keep snacks and essential items within easy reach.
Constructed of lightweight, abrasion-resistant fabrics, the Osprey Aura AG 50 Women's pack is available in your choice of sizes and colors.

Real Customer Reviews
- Nice bag
Likes: I really like this bag as far as the size and functionality is concerned. I love that the top lid is detachable. The bag also makes carrying heavier loads very easy.
Dislikes: I found that the fit of this bag did not work for me because the hip belts dug into my smaller waist. The width of the belts were too big for my waist and made me dread putting the bag on simply for that reason. I was not able to get fitted for a bag due to where I live and I'm sure I would have avoided buying this bag altogether if so.
- great pack!
Likes: I bought this pack for my wife, she finds it to be very comfortable and plenty of space for a 3 day trip. She really likes the ventilation and large waist band pockets.
Dislikes: none at this time

- Perfect pack
Likes: Very comfortable and plenty of storage
Dislikes: Color choices were ok.
- great pack
Likes: Lots of different storage compartments makes it easy to get organized. The best part is the hip packs to grab a quick snack or phone for a photo!
Dislikes: Nothing so far!
- Love the Anti-Gravity Feature
Likes: The bag hugs my body. Love the fact that the back mesh helps ventilate the heat & sweat off my back. The weight seems really transfer to the hip. There are a lot of compression straps that really help stable the pack. The 2 hip belt pockets are great for my smaller cellphone & snacks.
Dislikes: The hip belt required a thicker pad at the bottom edge. It hurt my hips after hiking in it for 4 miles. The hip belt pockets could be a bit bigger for Iphone 8 plus.
- The wife Loves it!!!

- Awesome pack
Likes: Best pack I’ve ever put on, feels like a hug. Love it more than my Kyte 46 and I still love that pack too :)
Dislikes: I have to return because I need the extra room in aura 65L and can’t exchange because they don’t have my size and color in stock :(
Still absolutely love Backcountry Edge
- Great for spouse
Likes: Awesome fit for 110lbs 5 7” wife. She was able to comfortably fit all gear needed for a multi day hike, while maintaining ultra light feel and durability
Dislikes: Better slot for camelback, this one is a little tight.
