Equipped with confident traction, ample cushioning, and lightweight but durable synthetic construction, the Oboz Men’s Sawtooth Low trail shoe is a highly-breathable option for performance-demanding hikers who prefer a low cut shoe to a boot.

The hybrid construction of Nubuck leather and high-tenacity fabrics makes the upper of the Sawtooth Low shoe extremely durable, abrasion-resistant, and breathable. A 3D molded heel counter keeps your heel securely and comfortably held in place while a wide toe box gives your foot some roominess where it’s most likely to need it.

Under foot, the shoe’s dual-density EVA foam and nylon shank provide comfortable cushioning, flexibility, and stability. A high-performance insole is a cut above what you’ll find in most boots, providing plush EVA foam under the heel and forefoot, a shock-absorbing and stability-enhancing heel cup and arch support, and moisture-wicking materials.

The rubber outsole’s aggressive, mud-shedding tread and toothy traction-enhancing side lugs team up to provide confident footing on-trail or off.

The Oboz Men’s Sawtooth Low trail shoe is available in men’s full and half sizes.

  • BFit Deluxe Insole stabilizes arches and protects high-impact zones
  • Molded Heel Counter is made for extra durability

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. Right out of the box they fit and felt good.

Likes: Super arch support like no other. Firm support and stable platform. Good styling without being garish.

Dislikes: Regular size runs narrow - I had to return for the wider width to fit my foot.

Replace your Merrells with Oboz.

Likes: I can wear them all day, in town or on the trail. The right combination of comfort and support. Like them so much I bought a second pair. True to size Replaced Merrells. Don't think I'll ever go back

Dislikes: None.

I've purchased 5 pairs of this exact shoe over the past 2 years.

Likes: This shoe for me is one of the most comfortable after breaking in properly with inserts I use as well. I'm 215 pounds & own a construction company which requires a comfortable shoe for the miles I walk daily carrying variable amounts of weight.

Likes: Right out of the box awesome fit, very comfortable and excellent quality. I’m able to wiggle the toes and a firm fit in the back! Even on the low the support on my ankles excellent, Great traction on the trails too, well worth the money and awesome customer service with a superb warranty!

Dislikes: Absolutely nothin,

Very solid feeling!

Likes: Durable, great heel lock, rugged, decent cost

Dislikes: Lacing is a little close together but I understand why they designed it that way.

Overall good first impression
Reviewed by Alan V. - May 19, 2017

Likes: Good, tight fit, feels like a running shoe. Great leashes. Seems of good quality, time will tell.

Dislikes: Needed a couple of days to break in, didn't expect it from Oboz.

The best shoe I have ever worn
Reviewed by Robert R. - June 17, 2016

Likes: I love the Oboz Sawtooth Trail Shoe. When I received them I was in aw of the design and style. The fit like a glove and there was no break in time. I wear them in a rotation with my other hiking shoes. I have Merrill's, Keen, Sketchers and Oboz. I love my Oboz and unfairly were them more out of rotation because they are so comfortable. The are true to size and the confident traction, ample cushioning, and lightweight but durable synthetic construction, is fantastic. I love them!

Dislikes: I do have only a few dislikes and they aren't bad. #1: The shoelaces don't like to stay tied. This is just a material selection and they just come untied at the worse time. I guess I could put bungees in them, but it changes the shoe profile, so I live with it for now. #2: I wear a wide shoe and Oboz only makes 2 wide choices. I want more Oboz, but cant because of the lack of wide with shoes. Please, Oboz, Make more wide shoes. That's all.
