Built to comfortably sleep two the NEMO Tango Duo Slim & Slipcover is a super-comfortable sleep system consisting of a unique weight-saving double-wide sleeping bag and a comfort-enhancing fitted sheet.
Lightweight water resistant fabrics with a DWR (durable water repellant) finish make up the outer shell of the 30 degree sleeping bag while 700-fill power down with DownTek nanotechnology keeps cold and moisture at bay. Renowned for their efficiency in retaining heat and compressible properties down fibers have an incredibly soft comfortable feel and despite advances in synthetic materials continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The one weakness of traditional down insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet but the DownTek treatment repels water while maintaining loft and insulation value even in damp conditions. This nanotechnology also helps protect against mildew bacteria and odor. A waterproof/breathable footbox protects the Tango Duo Slim 30 further from the condensation that often builds up inside tent walls.
NOTE: The Tango Duo Slim has a "backless design" with an uninsulated bottom and does require the use of two sleeping pads. Two NEMO Astro or Cosmo pads (sold separately) or any pairing of 20" x 72" sleeping pads will fit perfectly into the large sleeve on the bottom of the bag supplying insulation and comfort while the top portion of the bag is insulated like a traditional sleeping bag. This design provides a secure foundation so you can roll twist and turn freely during the night without ever rolling off your pad. It is important to use a sleeping pad of an appropriate R-value to match the bag’s 30-degree temperature rating. The included slipcover has a soft machine-washable sleep surface that increases comfort while also extending the life of your pads.

Real Customer Reviews
- High quality but doesn't work with Exped Megamat 10 Duo
Likes: Lightweight, warm, excellent NEMO quality.
Dislikes: I had read in a comment here that this works with the Exped Megamat Duo 10. It doesn't, in the sense that it does NOT attach to the Exped. You can use it as a quilt, on top of the Exped, of course–but the sell on this for me was that like the Sierra Designs Frontcountry Queen, I could slip our Megamat into its fitted sheet. That doesn't work because the Exped is too big and the NEMO is tapered. Caveat emptor.
- Haven't had a chance to try it out in the Backcountry yet but set up well with 2 standard sleeping pads and the slipcover when testing it in my living room.
Likes: Very light, compresses small, washable slipcover
Dislikes: Stuff sack doesn't compress but no big deal to use another compression sack.
- great product, warm and packs small
Likes: paired it with a exped synmat duo winter
Dislikes: slipcover gets sticky
- Light, warm, well constructed
Likes: For the price, this bag is light. The seems, zippers and overall construction are quality. The feel of the fabric is very thin but soft, silky and smooth. The slip cover is a nice feature for the additional cost.
Dislikes: Stuff sack and bag compressibility could be improved. Backless design is not warm without a very well insulated dual mattresses. It did work great with an ExPed Megamat Duo (R value of 9.5)
- Lightweight, compact and very comfortable.
Likes: Great sleeping system, I used a 10L Sea to Summit event waterproof compression sack to reduce the volume to stow it into the backpack.
Very comfortable and lightweight. The Slip cover is a must with the sleeping pads. ( I used Two regular size Therm a rest Neo air.)
Have yet to try it under 40F
-NEMO Tango Duo Slim & Slipcover is Awesome.
Dislikes: A bit pricey. Takes some time to folded it and place it in the waterproof sack.
