An excellent option for side sleepers and those who want more ergonomic room and comfort in a bag, the NEMO Nocturne 15 Degree sleeping bag utilizes NEMO’s unique Spoon Shape design which provides backpackers adjustable comfort and weight savings.
Lightweight, water resistant fabrics with a DWR (durable water repellant) finish make up the outer shell of the Nocturne 15 Degree sleeping bag while 750 fill power down with DownTek nanotechnology keeps cold and moisture at bay. DownTek, a treatment applied to each plume of down, repels water while maintaining its loft and insulation value even in the wettest conditions. This nanotechnology also helps protect against mildew, bacteria and odor.
NEMO’s innovative Spoon Shape contours give you extra space where it matters most. The cut starts wide in the shoulders, tapers in at the hips for comfort and warmth, and flares back out through the knees, letting you bend and shift naturally throughout the night. The Nocturne 15 Degree sleeping bag provides true sleeping comfort while maintaining thermal efficiency in a low weight, compressible option that performs in three-season temperatures. A waterproof/breathable footbox protects the bag further from the condensation build up that frequents the inside of tent walls.
Other comfort features include NEMO’s soft, down-filled Blanket Fold design. This insulated panel at the collar of the Nocturne 15 Degree sleeping bag mimics home bedding and can be tucked around the face on cold nights or lay flat when it’s not needed. A contoured side zipper and down-insulated draft tube keep cold air out of the Nocturne 15 Degree sleeping bag. Drawcord adjustments around the face can be tightened or loosened as needed.
Available in your choice of Regular (fits to 6’ 0") and Long (6’ 6") lengths, the NEMO Nocturne 15 Degree sleeping bag includes a stuff sack and a storage sack.

Real Customer Reviews
- I like it.....
Likes: The zipper worked well, and I liked the little quilt flap at the top.
I also liked the fact that a storage bag and a stuff sack came with it.
Dislikes: No dislikes.
- Fanastic sleeping bag / unfortunate colors
Likes: I would give this bag 5 stars, but the color is just that bad. I love the 'spoon' shape, thought it's closer to rectangle - which is exactly what I like. I abandoned mummy bags a long while ago. I like the quality of Nemo products and this is no exception. I wondered whether the duck down would perform as well as goose down - fine! The difference in price is well worth taking the chance. I'm so happy with this sleeping bag. I'm also an artist / designer. Next time, give me a call Nemo. This gray is more like a doo doo brown. Horrible. But then, I'm asleep. P.S. It's a men's bag, which makes the spaciousness even better! I'm a woman and really enjoy the comfy feeling of swimming in the yummy space.
Dislikes: The color - did I mention the color? Yikes! Not only is the gray (technically warm gray) a sludge brown, the red lining and piece keeping your neck warm are two different reds. Eeeeek. I will love my homely Nemo anyway.
- Perfect for a side sleeper
Likes: Light weight
Dislikes: Color (mine is the mens bag in red/ grey).
I'm a 5'9'' female, so I had to get the male bag, as opposed to the female bag, due to my height. This also means that the temperature is not exact for my body type. :(
- Awesome Sleeping Bag
Likes: This is the third Nemo sleeping bag that I have purchased for my family. The Nocturne is roomy in all the right places, cozy and warm. I am a side/active sleeper and the Nemo bags are the best sleeping bags I have found that allow me to sleep without waking up numerous times.
The service here at Backcountry Edge is nothing short of amazing.
- Super light, super comfy
Likes: -Nice hood, very natural and convenient to pull on when you want it, barely noticeable when you don't want it
-the "spoon shape" does exactly what they say it does: makes side or belly positions not only possible but very comfortable.
-the tougher material along the zipper does a great job of preventing snags
Dislikes: -I would say the size recommendations are pretty strict. Trying it out, I found that I'm technically taller than 5'11.5" when lying down because when I'm on my back, my feet point down, enough so that it created some tension on the bag. So I tried moving a little further away from the foot, only to realize that it tapers pretty sharply at the neck, which prevented me from getting my shoulders through the opening when it was completely zipped. Think I'll be returning it for the next size up.
