Balancing performance and price, the NEMO Disco 15 Degree bag has a unique "Spoon Shape" design that provides roomy comfort for 3-season camping or backpacking.
Down insulation has long been renowned for its compressible properties and efficiency in delivering an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. The shortcoming of down has been its susceptibility to the effects of moisture, losing much of its performance qualities when wet or damp. The Disco 15's 650-fill Nikwax Hydrophobic down insulation provides water-repellency that keeps the insulation dry longer and allows it to dry faster if it should become wet. More importantly, it maintains thermal efficiency even if it becomes wet, a quality that could traditionally only be found in heavier, less-compressible synthetic fills. The bag's 30D ripstop nylon shell has a DWR treatment to further protect the insulation from the elements.
NEMO’s innovative Spoon Shape contours give you extra space where it matters most. The cut starts wide in the shoulders, tapers in at the hips for comfort and warmth, and flares back out through the knees, letting you bend and shift naturally throughout the night. Another unique feature is NEMO's "Thermo Gills", zippered panels that enable you to vent body heat at your core without having to unzip the entire bag. This temperature regulation feature allows the bag to remain comfortable in varying temperatures. A waterproof/breathable footbox protects the bag further from the condensation build up that frequents the inside of tent walls.
Other comfort features include a fully-insulated hood and NEMO’s soft, down-filled Blanket Fold design. This insulated panel at the collar of the bag mimics home bedding and can be tucked around the face on cold nights or lay flat when it’s not needed. A contoured side zipper and down-insulated draft tube keep cold air out of the bag's interior. Drawcord adjustments around the face can be tightened or loosened as needed. A small zippered pocket provides a place to safely stash valuables.
Available in your choice of Regular (fits to 6’ 0") and Long (6’ 6") lengths, the NEMO Disco 15 Degree sleeping bag includes a stuff sack and a storage sack.

Real Customer Reviews
- Love it!!
Likes: Awesome performance in cold weather!!
Dislikes: A little concerned about some of the sewing after some usage.
Likes: Very spacious, good quality materials.
Dislikes: For me, a small person, it's a bit too roomy.
- Superb alternative to narrow mummy bags
Likes: If you've ever slept in a mummy bag and woken up with leg pain, or tried to move in the night while constricted and thus not slept well at all, then this is truly the bag for you. I am so, so glad I found it. It is well worth the $$, and though I haven't tested it in colder temps, for me it was worth the relatively minor price difference to get the Disco 15 over the Disco 30. It's got cool vent zippers. It's so soft and cozy. My camping pillow fits right in. The design is brilliant, and I can finally sleep on my side with ease.
I never knew what a real sleeping bag was like until now.
Dislikes: The vent zippers are pretty dainty. so I'm extra careful with those.
- Great quality sleeping bag
Likes: The spoon design is great with lots of room. It's very comfortable to sleep in and the quality of the material feels great. Very happy with this bag.
- Just what I have been waiting for
Likes: Design made for comfort
- Just used in Yosemite for a Week
Likes: We had temperature from 40 to 60 at night and this sleeping bag was great in all situations. One thing to know is that we slept in hammocks which can be colder because of the open exposure to wind. Absolutely no issues. I was toasted and warm. The compression sack is super nice too, really takes a large sleeping bag and brings it down to a size that allows for a lot of other stuff inside your backpack.
Dislikes: I wished it was a little lighter because we hike for a week at a time and pack our own food. That said, I'm not switching sleeping bags...this is the best quality I have had yet.
- I’ve been a side sleeper for as long as I can remember and this bag is excellent! Extremely warm and comfortable.
Likes: -Great for side sleeping
-Light and compact for its roominess
-Shell is definitely water resistant, no issues with wet down
-Frankly, a rad looking bag
-Front vents are very nice for warmer nights
-Excelled in wet, cold conditions in the BWCA
-Inner material is soft and comfy
Dislikes: -The main zipper can be a little prone to snagging at first, but if you’re careful it’s not an issue
-Same goes for front vent zippers
-Would be nice if the included stuff sack also had compression straps
-Definitely not an ultralight bag, but worth the extra weight for the comfort
- Super Roomy Bag
Likes: Light and versatile bag. Worked great when opened up, and when closed. Very roomy. Loved the 'blanket' feature near the hood. Really let me snuggle in and close out the light. Pocket at the top was also great, and well concealed.
Dislikes: Not as small as some other bags.
- Very Comfortable
Likes: Compression sack works great!
Dislikes: nothing, great product.
- Nemo Disco 15
Likes: This is a roomy and good looking bag. The innovative vent gills design will surely come handy in warmer weather allowing the excess heat to dissipate. So far I've only tested it at home and it feels great, plenty of space compared to my other bags. Almost immediately gets warm when zipped. I'm a side sleeper and this is the most comfortable lightweight bag I've used so far, feels like you are sleeping in your bed. Can't wait to field test it. Comfy, compact and lightweight and the price is attractive.
Fast shipping and perfect service by Backcountry Edge.
Dislikes: No negatives so far. Once I use it in the mountains will update if there is anything unsatisfactory.
