A versatile and feature-rich option for backpacking or camping the NEMO Dagger 2P effectively balances weight performance and roominess. Dual doors and vestibules internal storage and a voluminous interior maximize livability.
Measuring 90” x 50” the tent has a 31 square foot floor area and offers a peak height of 42”. Two large side-entry doors create convenient access and the Dagger 2P’s two vestibules offer a combined 23 square feet of exterior space to stow gear. An internal storage pocket utilizes light-diffusing fabric to turn a headlamp (not included) into a lantern capable of illuminating the interior of the tent.
A hubbed-pole design creates a unique easy-set-up architecture and an additional ridge pole gives the sidewalls excellent verticality which frees up elbow room inside the tent. This construction also better maintains overhead height so that you have headroom throughout the tent instead of just in the very center.
A raised waterproof bathtub-style floor enhances performance in poor weather and also cuts down on wear-and-tear. Fully seam taped construction and the PU-coated Nylon rainfly further bolster weather protection. A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) can be used to offer additional protection against standing water rocks and roots.
Each NEMO Dagger 2P tent includes a stuff sack guyout cord stakes and a repair kit. An innovative “dual-stage” design on the stuff sack makes it convenient to split up the components of the tent to share the carry weight between multiple backpackers.
- Trapezoidal vestibule creates more area and volume for storage than any other tent in its price and weight category
- The Dagger 2P has more livable interior space than the best-selling tents in its category
- Two doors an two generous vestibules eliminate awkward entries/exits and provide ample gear storage
- Overhead light pockets use special light diffusing fabric to cast an even glow throughout the tent
- New dual-stage stuff sack fits the tent and poles or adjusts smaller to further compress the tent and split the load
- Inner tent has a built-in privacy panel for extended coverage and security
- Footprint, Pawprint, and Gear Loft sold separately

Real Customer Reviews
- Easy setup and lots of room
Likes: Easy setup - was able to set this tent up for the first time in about 5 minutes. Much more room than my Brooks Mountaineering Foray 2p. Interior pockets are also a big plus.
Dislikes: The tent poles have a large diameter and take up about twice the space as similar aluminum poles. This could be a deal breaker if my pack was any smaller. This is why I gave a 4 rating.
- Really satisfied with this tent
Likes: As described by many users that have already tested this tent out.
Dislikes: A little pricey if it wasn't for the 20% off
- Lightweight, durable tent with plenty of room.
Plenty of room for two
Dislikes: Small pockets
Footprint not included
- Just about perfect!
Likes: I bought this for solo motorcycle camping. After tons of research, this is the perfect combination of weight, room, storage, ventilation and durability. Love the ease of pitch and the huge vestibules.
Dislikes: Setup in rain requires setting up tent before fly...gonna get wet!!! Not a deal breaker, though!
- Great backpacking tent
Likes: Easy set up, roomy and lightweight.
- Great tent
Likes: - very comfortable and easy to set up
Dislikes: - a little pricey and the footprint is not included
- Great Tent
Likes: Love the headlamp pocket to diffuse light throughout the tent as well as the durable materials.
Dislikes: On the heavier side.
- Cool tent!
Likes: This is the kind of tent that makes you feel like a total rock star out in the backcountry. It's lightweight, and it looks super cool. I thought it was easy to set up, was surprisingly sturdy in the wind, and I love the storage sack's ability to shrink down 1/4 of its size to make it more packable.
Dislikes: This is the only reason why I didn't give this thing five stars, and maybe this is a flaw only in the tent that I bought. I should also say that, in my mind, five stars makes something absolutely perfect in every way with no room for improvement, and so four stars is still really, really good. The zipper to the door was really hard to close right where the green tafita-like material and the mesh meet each other when the tent was all staked out. It seems like there was a lot of tension there and not that much in other places. It took quite a bit of horsing around with it to finally get the zipper closed (there was about a four-inch gap from where I could zip it closed). Once again though, this tent is super-awesome.
- Nice and light
Likes: Love the tent, typical Nemo quality. Setup was quick and easy. The included stuff sack is very handy. Two thumbs up.
Dislikes: None that I can think of.
