Designed for the backpacker who counts ounces but also wants to kick back and relax at the end of a long day on the trail, the Mountainsmith Slingback Chair utilizes two telescoping trekking poles (not included) to serve as a minimalist backcountry lounger!

Constructed of 610d HP Cordura fabric, the durable sling weighs just 4.75 ounces. By placing two poles in two recessed pockets and using the weight of your body to support the 40” x 14.75” sling, you can sprawl out at your campsite with protection from the ground itself. NOTE: First use can be a bit tricky, but once you’ve pitched the Slingback Chair a time or two, set up is a breeze. When you’re ready to turn in or be on your way, simply roll the chair into its integrated storage pouch

The Mountainsmith Slingback Chair does require the use of two telescoping trekking poles with a minimum height of 24”-30”. Poles are not included.

Back support on the trail
Reviewed by Hike.Wild - August 4, 2017

Likes: Lightweight and really easy to deploy and use. Great adjustable back support.
Pick your recline angle, or sit upright. Might want to add a pad to add some cushion. I was glad I had my z-seat.

Dislikes: You sit right at ground level. If the ground is wet, your seat will be dry, but your legs will get wet.
