Mountainsmith trekking poles embody the strength, balance and features needed for the backcountry, while adhering to the value proposition that permeates Mountainsmith’s line.
A cane with backcountry styling, the lightweight, easy-to-adjust Mountainsmith Nomad 7075 trekking pole is an economical choice for travel, moderate hiking or everyday mobility support. The carbide tip is sturdy enough for use on trails, and a removable rubber tip protector allows the Nomad 7075 to be used indoors or on improved surfaces.
Two telescoping aluminum pole sections provide the Nomad 7075 with a maximum extended length of 54 inches (137 cm) and allow it to collapse down to 26.5 inches (67 cm) for ease of storage and convenient transport.
A T-style, ergonomic cork handle allows you to securely grasp the Nomad 7075 with a less active wrist position than required with many trekking poles for use as a cane. An adjustable webbing/neoprene strap and an integrated anti-shock system help to alleviate stress on your wrist.
Sold individually, the Mountainsmith Nomad 7075 travel cane includes a narrow-profile, removable hiking basket. Snow baskets (sold separately) can be used to better equip the pole for winter use.
