Filled with compressible synthetic fill, the Mountainsmith K-9 Bed is your four-legged adventurer's home away from home. Weighing just 2 pounds and packing into its own stuff sack, the K-9 Bed is ready made for backpacking or camping.

The K-9 Bed's synthetic MountainLoft insulation delivers a warm and cushioned sleeping surface. Unlike down fill, MountainLoft retains its insulative qualities even when wet. A brushed twill top layer delivers next to skin comfort and a weather-resistant bottom holds up to wear and tear. The K-9 Bed is even machine washable.

The Mountainsmith K-9 Bed has a unique hexagonal shape that measures 5" x 36" x 36" and packs down to just 8" x 15" in its compression stuff sack.

  • Brushed twill top layer
  • Weather resistant bottom layer
  • Off-set quilt construction resists migration
  • Plush synthetic insulation
  • Machine washable
  • Unique hexagon shape creates an ideal pad to curl up on
  • Sized for medium to medium-large dogs
  • Stuff sack included - packs down for trail and travel
  • Fits in Mountainsmith K-9 Cube when stuffed

Likes: Good quality, well-constructed, pretty easy to stuff, great portability for road trips.

Dislikes: Beware that it depends on how large your "medium-large" size dog is. I have a 75-lb norwegian elkhound mix. The bed was a little small for him, but he managed to curl up on it anyway.

Likes: Very light weight and big enough for even my boxer to sleep comfortably on. Also packs fairly small and consolidated to take with you. Easy to wahs and so far it seems very durable!

Dislikes: none
