An excellent choice for skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or any cold weather activity, Outdoor Research Meteor Mitts are warm and durable. Removable liners with fold-back exposure for your fingers lend the mitts modular versatility.

A durable nylon shell with a smooth tricot lining combines with a waterproof/breathable Ventia insert and Ventia Dry construction to offer excellent weather protection. Removable 300-weight fleece liners lend extra warmth when needed and can be left behind when mild conditions allow you to shed weight. Low-profile magnetic retaining points on the liners keep the fold-back flaps securely out of your way when you need your fingertips free for maximum dexterity. A heat packet pocket is located on the back of the hand.

Boxed construction and an anatomical pre-curve design make the Meteor Mitts comfortable to wear and a tactile AlpenGrip LT palm maintains grip. Integrated SuperCinch gauntlet closures keep snow and ice out of the mitt and removable idiot cords secure the mitts to your wrist so they can be removed without being dropped.

Sold in pairs, Outdoor Research Meteor Mitts are available in your choice of size and color.

Likes: These are heavy duty gloves for extreme cold weather- we used them in the Cascades while snow camping. A bit hard do work around the camp with these on- but the main reason we bought them was for warmth on the coldest nights and they did the job well.

Dislikes: Wish it were a bit easier to XC ski with these on.
