Durable and supportive, the Oboz Men’s Tamarack BDry trail shoe offers waterproof protection, excellent breathability, and reliable traction. The shoe delivers great backcountry performance with aesthetics for everyday wear.
The hybrid Nubuck and synthetic construction give the Tamarack an excellent combination of supportiveness, abrasion-resistance, breathability, and comfort. A BDry tape-sealed polyurethane bootie provides waterproof protection while still helping to breathe and wick sweat to keep you cool and dry. A wide toe box gives your foot some roominess where it’s most likely to need it.
Under foot, the shoe’s dual-density EVA foam and nylon shank provide comfortable cushioning, flexibility, and weight-hauling stability. A high-performance insole is a cut above what you’ll find in most boots, providing plush EVA foam under the heel and forefoot, a shock-absorbing and stability-enhancing heel cup and arch support, and moisture-wicking materials.
The rubber outsole has toothy traction-enhancing side lugs and 4mm directional lugs that provide confident footing on-trail or off. A lightweight TPU chassis enhances stability and helps absorb some of the impact of rocks and roots hat could otherwise lead to bruising.
The Oboz Men’s Tamarack BDry hiking shoe is available in men’s full and half sizes.

Real Customer Reviews
- Rock solid and tightly cushioned shoes.
Likes: Well made. The padded tongue and rim of the opening are tight and keep the feet feeling secure. The rand around and on top of the toes have already saved us from pain. The rubber of the sole has good grip on flat rocks, not to mention the loose stuff.
Dislikes: This is not really a dislike but a caution;
for a low cut shoe, there is a bit of weight to them.
