Offering fully-featured 3-season protection, the durable, lightweight Outdoor Research Men's Foray Jacket keeps out wet weather and offers maximum breathability. Fully-taped, GORE-TEX Paclite fabric takes the wear-and-tear of the trail while lightweight yet durable construction make this jacket a good option for year round, foul weather protection.
Outdoor Research's innovative TorsoFlo side zips provide superior ventilation. Two-way zippers run from the bicep to the hem of the jacket and allow built-up heat to escape. This feature allows for poncho-style ventilation when your backpack's waistbelt passes underneath the jacket so that you maintain maneuverability without jeopardizing the jacket's waterproof protection or your own comfort.
Other features of the Men's Foray Jacket include a dual-pull adjustable hood, a storm flap over the front zipper, a zippered external chest pocket and two zippered hand pockets. The left hand pocket doubles as a stuff sack. The standard fit of this jacket leaves room for lightweight insulation layers in cold weather or simple base layers in warmer temperatures.
The Outdoor Research Men's Foray Jacket is available in a variety of size and color options.

Likes: So far I have not tested this jacket in warm weather. But I have hiked with it in mild winter and rainy weather. I love it! So I purchased the Foray Pant as well. It has an excellent fit - not too tight, but not baggy. It feels great against the skin. It does not feel like rubber or plastic but has a nice natural feel. You can batten it down so no weather gets to you or you can unzip the long side zips which let plenty of air in. It even works great with a backpack on. I have adopted this as not only a rain jacket, but an outer shell - it is light weight and works awesome! The ventilation system is by far the BEST!!
