Light and sturdy, the LEKI Wanderfreund Antishock walking staff features advanced locking mechanisms, antishock and an ergonomic grip to offer support in a wide variety of conditions and terrain.
Micro Wanderfreund Antishock DSS feature LEKI's Dynamic Suspension System (DSS) that reduces stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. This system reduces the peak impact force by up to 40%, protecting muscles, joints and ligaments. LEKI places the DSS system close to the point of impact by placing the system right above the tip of the pole.
LEKI's Speed Lock 2 system utilizes integrated stainless steel pressure plates to provide a secure lock and keep pole sections from slipping. The fiberglass-reinforced mechanism resists stretching so it retains its locking ability after repeated use.
LEKI's rubberized, textured Aergomed grip is lightweight, strong and comfortable. The carbide flex tip deflects up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole section. This reduces the risk of shaft breakage if the cane should get caught between rocks or tree roots. The rubber tip attachment makes the Wanderfreund Antishock DSS cane suitable for use indoors or on paved surfaces.
As testament to the strength and longevity of LEKI's designs, the Wanderfreund Antishock cane includes a lifetime warranty for shaft breakage.

Real Customer Reviews
- Pleased with product and service
Likes: I am happy with the walking stick and even happier with the help I received from Backcountry Edge staff who provided important information that Leki did not include about adjusting the locks and checking them periodically to be sure they won't slip. I am using this walking stick while I await hip surgery and I find it comfortable. The removable rubber tip is very useful going from icy conditions to indoors or slippery surfaces.
Dislikes: Leki should include information about adjusting and checking locks to keep them safe, but Backcountry Edge staff provided that vital information.

Likes: I'm headed for knee replacement surgery. In the interim this staff is allowing me to keep up my usual perambulations. It is light and fits comfortably into my hand.
Dislikes: None that I can think of.
