Ideal for cost-conscious hikers and backpackers seeking step up performance LEKI Legacy Lady trekking poles offer reliability at a budget friendly price by employing durable aluminum construction user-friendly external locking mechanisms and compact ergonomic foam grips.

LEKI's Speed Lock system utilizes an integrated stainless steel pressure plate to provide a secure lock and keep pole sections from slipping. The fiberglass-reinforced mechanism resists stretching so it retains its locking ability after repeated use. Adjusting pole length on-the-fly has never been easier.

Carbide flex tips deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of shaft breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure. Optional snowflake and deep powder baskets (sold separately) allow the poles to be converted for winter use.

Sold in pairs LEKI Legacy Lady trekking poles weigh just 16.65 ounces per pair and offer an adjustability range of 35.5”-49.25”. The poles collapse down to a length of 25.25”.

Just what I needed, at the right price!

Likes: So this is my first set of trekking poles. Contacted the gear experts to help me choose something that would be a good fit for what I needed, and I spoke to Becky who was extremely helpful (thanks, Becky!). She gave me a few recommendations, and I chose the Leki Legacy Lady trekking poles.

First of all, I don't have anything to compare them to, so I'm just reviewing the poles based on my limited experience with them. I wanted something that was easy to adjust, lightweight, no frills, and that would give me additional support and stability when hiking. These are perfect for what I wanted! Simple and sturdy.

The grips are very comfortable, and even with sweaty hands, the foam doesn't get slippery - a big plus for me. The grips are compact and easy to grasp for folks with small hands. The top of the grip is smooth, not foam or rubberized, but I don't think it would be a problem if using your palm over the top occasionally.
It's super easy to adjust the poles with the locking mechanisms, even with gloves on. The length markings are easy to read. Went for a short hike with them, stopping a couple times to make small adjustments, and it was very quick and easy to get them dialed in to a comfortable height. They became very intuitive after a while, which is a testament to the light weight and comfort. I haven't made a long hike with them yet, but there's no doubt they will perform well and will provide stability on the trail.

Bottom line - if you're looking for something simple, easy to adjust, no frills, good quality and sturdy construction, these poles are a great value for the price.

Dislikes: One (minor) complaint I have is that the poles arrived with a few scuffs and scratches, but this could have happened during shipping and in no way affects the function of the poles. They are shipped with little plastic covers over the tips, so everything was intact. They will eventually accumulate plenty of scuffs and scratches on the trail anyway.
