Updated for 2014! LEKI Cristallo trekking poles offer high-performance features at a budget-friendly price. Easy-to-use external locking mechanisms and ergonomic grips equip the poles for varied terrain.
AERGON Soft rubber grips serve as comfortable, confident handholds while incorporating an ovoid shape that can be palmed or held traditionally. Integrated ultra-lightweight, adjustable straps further reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort.
LEKI's Speed Lock system utilizes integrated stainless steel pressure plates to provide a secure lock and keep pole sections from slipping. The fiberglass-reinforced mechanism resists stretching so it retains its locking ability after repeated use.
Carbide flex tips deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of shaft breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure. Optional snowflake and deep powder baskets (sold separately) allow the poles to be converted for winter use.Sold in pairs, LEKI Cristallo trekking poles have a usable adjustability range of 26.4"-53.1".

Likes: These are very similar to my other Leki's. The cam locks are much better than my other twist locks and the grips are very comfortable. Great price and they are very nice looking too!
Dislikes: The weight of these are a bit on the heavier side, but I knew that going into it. My next ones will be carbon fiber to shave 5-6oz off.
Likes: these poles took everything a 12 day trek at Philmont scout ranch could dish out from dirt trails to rocks and never failed
