Built to tackle varying types of terrain, the La Sportiva Women’s Omega GTX hiking boot offers excellent fit, traction and support. Full-grain leather construction and a GORE-TEX lining combine to offer durability and waterproof protection.
Weighing roughly 2 pounds, 5 ounces per pair, the Women’s Omega GTX offers a gender-specific fit, trail-ready underfoot protection and stability on rocky and rooted terrain. A lightweight full-grain Idro-Perwanger greased and silicone-impregnated leather upper repels water without additional treatment and provides exceptional support in coordination with a nubuck leather cuff and Cordura/Lycra gusset. With board lasted construction, the co-molded Symbios PU midsole with EVA and a TPU torsion plate absorbs shock and protects feet for long-lasting comfort no matter how rough the terrain. A Vibram Sasslong outsole also ensures durability, as well as traction on a variety of surfaces, and La Sportiva’s Impact Brake System technology is employed to increase braking power by an average of 20% and decrease impact forces by an average of 20% in the Women’s Omega GTX. NOTE: The sturdy construction of the boot may require a gradual break-in period.
Sold in pairs, the La Sportiva Women’s Omega GTX hiking boot is available in a broad range of sizes (consult sizing chart for European conversions).

Likes: The comfort of this sturdy and supportive hiking book is amazing - drastically different from what I've experienced with hiking boots in the past. I love that this boot will give me the support I need on trail, with the added comfort in the sole.
Dislikes: I ordered this size (8-1/2), because the 8 felt a bit too snug. Sizing up in this shoe was a big jump in fit and feel. I fear the 8-1/2 is simply too big - even with a thick sock. I think it would make me a bit too unstable in my footing.
Likes: I love the comfort of this boot - right out of the box! It's like a study hiking boot meets the comfort of a sneaker.
Dislikes: My exact shoe size in this boot feels a bit too snug in the toe-box. I'm considering sizing-up. Although, a lighter sock might remedy.
