An excellent balance of price and performance, Komperdell Highlander Cork Antishock trekking poles are built for backpacking or hiking. The aluminum alloy poles provide the stability and balance needed for confident on and off-trail hiking and integrated shock absorption mechanisms relieve stress on your wrists.
The pneumatic antishock system found on the poles utilizes air pistons to provide progressive cushioning and ensure that the stronger the impact, the stronger the cushioning.
Three telescoping sections are constructed of a sturdy 7075 aluminum alloy. The high-frequency welded and drawn tubes are strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Cork grips include integrated woven straps that further relieve your wrists.
A pair of vario trekking baskets is included for improved traction. Optional winter and deep powder baskets (sold separately) are available to convert the Highlander Cork Antishock poles for use in snow and on ice. Tungsten/carbide flex tips are designed to flex if the tip of the pole should get stuck, helping to protect the shafts from structural damage.
Sold in pairs, Komperdell Highlander Cork Antishock trekking poles have a maximum extended length of 55.1” and a collapsed length of 28”.
