An excellent balance of price and performance, Komperdell Highlander Cork trekking poles are built for backpacking or hiking. The aluminum alloy poles provide the stability and balance needed for confident on and off-trail hiking.

Three telescoping sections are constructed of a sturdy 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. The high-frequency welded and drawn tubes are strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Cork grips include integrated woven straps that further relieve your wrists.

A pair of Vario trekking baskets is included for improved traction. Optional winter and deep powder baskets (sold separately) are available to convert the poles for use in snow and on ice. Tungsten/carbide flex tips are designed to flex if the tip of the pole should get stuck, helping to protect the shafts from structural damage.

Sold in pairs, Komperdell Highlander Cork trekking poles have an in-use adjustability range of 41.3"-55.1" and a collapsed length of 25.6”.

First pair of hiking poles
Reviewed by Otto R. - October 29, 2018

Likes: Just got these a couple of weeks ago and only used them in the neighborhood as a test run but like them so far. The adjustments are easy to make and do not slip. Lightweight and the cork grips are comfortable.

Dislikes: Did not come with a rubber hiking tip to cover the metal one, just a shipping protector. Could not find the pole diameter listed anywhere so ordered a couple different ones till I got the right size (12mm). Now all is good.
