The innovative, inflatable Klymit Insulated Static V Luxe sleeping pad employs a lightweight, compressible design and utilizes Primaloft insulation to deliver warmth for year-round use. The extra wide and long pad’s unique, pocketed V-chamber design increases warmth and provides excellent support and comfort.
The strategically oriented V-chambers offer a comfortable sleeping base but also help to trap air and keep you warmer than traditional inflatable pads. Horizontally-baffled side rails help to keep you situated on your pad at night and also provide some flexibility should you choose to use the Insulated Static V Luxe inside of your sleeping bag. Because of its weight-shaving design, the Insulated Static V Luxe inflates in just 16-22 breaths and the integrated valve makes inflation and deflation easy while ensuring a secure closure. Primaloft Eco insulation further bolsters warmth, granting the pad a year-round worthy 4.4 R-value.
The Klymit Insulated Static V Luxe sleeping pad has 76" x 30" x 3.0" dimensions but packs down to a backpacking-friendly 9" x 6" and weighs just 36 ounces. Each pad includes a patch kit and a stuff sack.

Real Customer Reviews
- Lightweight Easy to Inflate Sleeping Pad
Likes: The KLYMIT INSULATED STATIC V LUXE sleeping pad fits into a small pouch for easy carrying and storage, inflates in 15 seconds with our battery powered inflator, provides ample comfort given its minimal thickness and was easy to deflate. Two side by side took up nearly all of our 3 person Marmot tent floor space, so measure before attempting to use 3 pads in a 3 person tent.
Dislikes: No dislikes so far! I do wish I could easily tell which end is intended to be the head end of the pad. I have to pause and figure it out often starting to inflate in the opposite direction intended (no big deal).
- It's all about comfort for me. I have been sleeping on a 1 1/2 " pad for years, wow have I been missing out ! So worth the extra weight and pack size, after all a backpacking trip without sleep is no fun !
Likes: Larger size, thickness and warmth. I want something that will give me a great nights sleep and this pad does just that. I can roll and move all night and not have to worry about falling off my sleeping pad. Easy to inflate, deflate and pack up.
Dislikes: Somewhat large and a little heavier than I would like , but the likes out weigh the size and weight.
- Excellent but not for Hardcore Backpackers
Likes: Comfortable at any but the warmest temperatures. Large so you can rollover and still be on the mattress.
Worth the money.
Dislikes: A bit heavy and it takes more breaths than advertised.
- KLYMIT INSULATED LUX MAT
Likes: The Klymit Insulated Lux Mat is really comfortable and very light weight for such a wide mat.
Dislikes: I had a problem with my mat keeping air, every morning it was considerably less inflated. I could not locate the leak on the mat, I think it might be coming from the valve.
