The innovative, inflatable Klymit Insulated Static V Lite sleeping pad employs a lightweight, compressible design and utilizes Primaloft insulation to deliver warmth for year-round use. The pad’s unique, pocketed V-chamber design increases warmth and provides excellent support and comfort.
The strategically oriented V-chambers offer a comfortable sleeping base but also help to trap air and keep you warmer than traditional inflatable pads. Horizontally-baffled side rails help to keep you situated on your pad at night and also provide some flexibility should you choose to use the Insulated Static V Lite inside of your sleeping bag. Because of its weight-shaving design, the Insulated Static V Lite inflates in just 10-12 breaths and the integrated valve makes inflation and deflation easy while ensuring a secure closure. Primaloft Eco insulation further bolsters warmth, granting the pad a year-round worthy 4.4 R-value.
The Klymit Insulated Static V Lite sleeping pad has 72" x 23" x 2.5" dimensions but packs down to a backpacking-friendly 8" x 5" and weighs just 19.6 ounces. Each pad includes a patch kit and a stuff sack.

Real Customer Reviews
- Not expensive but extremely warm and comfortable
Likes: Extremely comfortable and compact. I really love this stuff. It's my first experience of using inflatable pads, so it's amazing to sleep so comfortably after using simple sleeping mats. I feel like at home in my bed :) Ergonomics is also pretty good.
- Fantastic sleeping pad
Likes: Very lite weight, compact, and comfortable. This pad is perfect for backpacking.
Dislikes: I have no dislikes
- Great combo of weight and warmth
Likes: Love this inflatable pad. Have both the insulated Luxe and regular width, non-insulated Klymit pads also. This fits nicely in between. Offers nice protection without the size and weight of the larger Luxe version. Used this just last week next to a lake where it dipped down into the high 30’s at night. Felt no coldness from underneath. Two thumbs up.
Dislikes: Although I have several pads from Klymit, I’m still not a huge fan of their inflation nozzle design. It can seize up and be difficult to open on occasion. I also feel it’s a little prone to leakage. Not a deal breaker, though, considering pretty much every inflatable pad leaks to some extent.
- Good mat.
Likes: Good size and color. Stayed warm throughout the night coupled with my down quilt. Small size when packed down and fairly easy to inflate/deflate.
Likes: Side sleeper friendly, lightweight, compact.
Dislikes: A little narrow, but it's perfect.
- broke after only a dozen outings. DO NOT USE ON THE BEACH
Likes: very very lightweight and very very portable. comfortable and practical
Dislikes: sand in the mouthpiece makes it deflate slowly. not good for beach camping. have to return. luckily comes with a one year no matter what guarantee.
- Great value for thickness and insulation, but not comfortable to me
Likes: Great insulation, great price, not a narrow pad like most of them
Dislikes: The ridges were too uncomfortable on my hips. I had to change sides frequently. I do have a skinny body type so that may play into this. Plenty of people like them.
- Great lightweight pad.
Likes: Weight. Size both when not in use and while inflated. It's 3 inches wider than my old pad and that made a big difference.
Dislikes: It did take more breaths to inflate than I had hoped. But still worth it considering the folded up size.
- Lightweight and Compact
Likes: Inflates very quickly and easily, very easy to fold and re-pack, super-lightweight and packs down really small. Pretty comfortable to sleep on-no sliding around or slipping off.
Dislikes: Seems a little short when I am sleeping on my stomach ( I am 5'8") and bought the regular size. Back and sides are fine, but on the stomach my toes slightly hang off the end.
